Jacob D'artagnan Wells

Jacob is here! He was born Tuesday, May 12th at 12:57pm. He weighs 7lbs 3oz and is 20in long. He seems so tiny though because he likes to be kept scrunched up in a ball (fetal position). He makes the funniest faces, I think he's confused... Like just adjusting to all the new images, noises and places. He's doing so well and Sarah did amazing! She spent half the time at home with labor pains and was in the hospital only 7hours before she had him. She only pushed for 20min! She's definitely got the Heeb baring genes. :) We are so happy to have Jacob here!

Sophia May Blasucci

Sophia is born! She was 7lbs 15oz, born at 6:10pm on May 5, 2009. She has brown eyes and dark hair and chubby cheeks. Jessica's water broke around 4am. They got to the hospital around 5am and gave her pitocin at 7am. She dealt with the contractions without an epidural until 11am. She started pushing around 4pm. Jessica (& Thomas) did great and she is doing well. Sophia came out, cried, but was having difficulty breathing properly. So she was taken to the NICU and has been there for almost 24hrs now. She has meconium in her lungs. She's hooked up to all sorts of tubes and wiring to make sure it all comes out. Jess was only able to hold Sophia for a second right after she was born. So everyone is anxiously awaiting for the meconium to pass and to be able to hold her. My dad took this pix between switching tubes. Isn't she so adorable!!
