To Share or Not to Share?
It have been more than a year that I haven't blogged! In fact, I haven't written any post for tis year, 2013 and it's already end of the year. Recently, I am thinking to share or not to share my relationship experiences on my blog. Hmmm...

Sad Love Song
While I was walked passed Samsung's exhibition in 1 Utama yesterday, I came across this MV whereby its' music attracted me so I stopped by and listened as the music attracted me. It's quite a heartfelt song. And I kinda like the lyric especially the last part of the song:
I've tried to give my best to you
I don't deserve the things you do
Everything has gone to memories
I just wish I knew the truth behind the lies

Recap of First Half of 2012
2012 have been a great year for me. What doesn't kill me makes me stronger. And I am glad difficult times are over! My life have been very interesting throughout 2012. So, let me recap the first half of 2012:
1. I bought a brand new car for myself (the downside of it - makes my financial super tight, boohoo).
2. I have bought many self improvement books to read for my personal growth and development. Yes, I want to improve my life and expand my horizon.
3. I have got into a new relationship with a very charming and awesome man.
4. I took an open water diving course and I am on my way getting my diving license officially! The diving experience is really amazing!
5. Besides swimming regularly, I started to run on treadmill again this year after quite some time. I have always wanted to maintain my fitness and live a healthy life.
6. I have registered for a few marathons. I've always longed to participate in Penang Bridge International Marathon since university but never get to do it until now. At the moment, I have completed one of the marathon - Olympic Day Fun Run 2012. The feeling of completing a marathon is awesome!!!
Out of so many things, the best thing that have ever happened to me this year is being in a relationship with my better half. He have brighten up my life so much and I am so blessed to have him in my life. Thank you for everything, my dearest! <3

Weight, Pls Go Down!!!
Now I am kinda regret to party a bit too much in the last three mths of 2011. In addition to CNY, I just realized that I have gained around 4-5kg if compare to Nov/Dec '11, this is super shocking. Now I am as chubby as I were during a certain period in uni. This is scary, I have been exercise very regularly every since Feb but weight, Y U NO DROP?!?! I shall prob ban myself from desserts. Guess what, Alexis' Tiramisu Cake/Snowflake/Chatime came across my mind. My goodness! How can I live without desserts? Desserts are just too irresistible. Anyhow, I'm gonna refrain myself from having desserts weekly and watch my diet. I need to lose at least 10kilos to look very fit! Hopefully I am able to shed the 10 kilos off by end of the year. It's gonna be very challenging. I don't intend to be thin but I want to be fit!!! I wanna look good in dresses!

What a Life!
As I were swimming at night hours in my condo's pool, I look at the condo blocks surrounding the pool reminds me of uni campus life two years and half back, which somehow gave me a kinda similar feelings. The difference is, I'm staying alone without my roommate/bff. During my uni times, I spent great deal of my leisure time on watching TVB/English drama series & reality shows, chatting and surfing the Internet. Now, I am spending my leisure time after working hours reading on self improvement books, video calls, swimming and Facebook. Anyway, it is probably good thing that I got trained while I studied in a uni which is situated stranded from the city, living inside the campus leading a boring life (study, eat, sleep, online, watch dramas) so that I am able to withstand my current life. I am not sure how long am I gonna sustain such a life. But one thing, I don't want to spend the rest of my life alone, staying in a rented room and experiencing traffic jams everyday. The most annoying thing living in this hectic city is the traffic and this is something that will never get better, but only worse. Oh, well!!!

The Power of Forgiveness and Time
"Forgiving others helps YOU - Forgiveness is not saying, “What you did to me is okay.” It is saying, “I’m not going to let what you did to me ruin my happiness forever.” Forgiveness is the answer. It doesn’t mean you’re erasing the past, or forgetting what happened. It means you’re letting go of the resentment and pain, and instead choosing to learn from the incident and move on with your life." - Adapted from marcandangel
Letting go of the resentment and pain, especially from our past is definitely not easy. Most importantly is we must learn to let go of things and be perseverance about it. I always believe TIME will HEAL. Do not underestimate the power of time. There is nothing in this world that we could not let go! I choose to forgive and let go of my resentment and pain and I heal tremendously by perseverance and as time goes by. And I have been moving on with my life much better than what I have expected, better than what my close friends have expected as well. People, do not let anyone to hold you back from the past because it is not worth it. Letting go the past is definitely not easy at all but we must open our heart and let it go, forgive!!! Things happened for a reason. Face it and accept what had happened. Life is too short to frown. There are so many good things out there. So, be positive and happy always! Be grateful for today. I am glad I made it this far. Life is good, life is beautiful!

The Top Two Comments About Me!
Most of the people I met, almost everyone actually, especially acquaintances and new people I met (regardless of females/males), told me that:
1. I don't look like my age and they got very surprised when I told them I am in my mid twenties as they thought I look like as if I am in early twenties 21-23. Most of them will give me the unbelievable look at their faces and response to me by saying "Really?!?! You looked so young!!!"
2. I don't look like an Engineer. I can say 99% of people get very impressed to know that I am an Engineer by profession, especially those who are not Engineers. I asked a few guys why are they so surprised that I am an Engineer? They told me it's because I am very feminine and in their view, usually lady engineers are usually pretty nerd and not fashionable/sociable. This is why sometimes I don't feel like telling people I am an Engineer by profession because I feel quite weird people get very impressed and thinking my profession is so cool. Actually there are quite many fashionable, feminine and pretty lady engineers out there!
What do you say?

Workaholic?
I think I am turning into a workaholic. I was never one before I moved to KL for work. Working overtime is very rare back in my hometown, like almost none, it's much more relax back then and good life! I used to think people who worked overtime like till 7pm or later are crazy but now I am like that myself ever since I have moved to KL due to heavy workload. I even stayed up to 9+pm alone in the office to get my work done. At my workplace, usually around 7+ very few people left and by 8pm most likely everyone will leave, for my floor. Seriously I have never thought I could work overtime till so late (mind you, I don't get paid for working overtime). Anyway, I am glad my profession is not as extreme as auditor! Well, career is my main focus point as I do not have a better half to distract me spend time with so cheers!

If Only You Could Understand My Frustrations...
It have been eight months living my working life around KL. How time flies! And it's amazing how things changes in time, too much changes in such a short period. I couldn't accept the changes in the beginning. I am actually pretty adaptable to changes but then as I grow up, there are a lot of things I got to worry about, I can't be as carefree as I used to be when I was still a student. Moreover, there are a lot of doubts and uncertainties that made me even more worried.
When I first moved over to KL, I stayed at Damansara, I was lucky enough to find a place to stay through the internet and it is within walking distance, about ten minutes to my workplace. So it's actually a double terrace storey house, I rented a single small room at downstairs. The house condition was quite okay and I stayed with three other girls, a Chinese, an Indonesian and a Sabahan. However, some of the girls wasn't hygenic! They just doesn't care about the cleanliness of the house, sigh! One of them always leave her leftover food or dishes on the dining table or at the basin for days or up to weeks without washing them, some of them never throw the trashes away whenever it's full. So it's pretty annoying...The most irritating part is because of all these, my room frequently got attacked by cockroaches!
My room is clean and I do not keep food inside my room. The problem is my room is downstairs and next to the kitchen. It was very very frustrating when like almost every week cockroach hijacked my room. Got once even flew n landed on my lap. Everytime I have to find it, chase it and kill it. I really hate cockroach, made me phobia a little. But I had no choice since I have no car and it is so near to my office.
Later, like after 1 to 2 months working with the company I received news that my company is going to move to another side of PJ most probably by end of the year. And the new place is not accessible by public transport. I was really worried about the transportation and finding new place to stay. The new office location isn't accessible by public transports and there are no accommodation over there which is within walking distance so transportation is a very major issue. My employment with that company was a two years contract but luckily termination notice is a month. So it's really frustrating and worrying, I have no idea if I shall stay with the company as I have just joined, don't know if it is worth to stay as it was a contractual employment, worried about the transportation as I couldn't afford to buy a car by myself and didn't dare to discuss with my parents as I think my parents won't allow me to buy a car here and my mum would definitely ask me to return to hometown to work. I even thought of moving back my hometown because of all these unforeseen circumstances!
Finally, I found a better job offer and it's a permanent position, which is my current job but transportation is an issue to me. I feel grateful my aunt is willing to lend me a car temporarily while I slowly settle down with my job here. So regarding job and transportation issue, it's settled. However, my worries doesn't end here, I have issues with my accommodation. Due to another unforeseen circumstances, I gave away and moved out from my rented room at Damansara and moved to a condo in PJ. The room is clean and lean. I kinda like it. However, I couldn't sleep well everyday. There is a low cost apartment located at opposite my room and I think there's a Surau there. It was really noisy and very disturbing. Everyday at 5++ am they blast their morning calls for prayers super loud!!! It had never failed to wake me up...I don't have to wake up so early for work actually, I could have slept for another 30-40mins. I just started new job that time and I wanted to focus on my new job but due to lack of sleep sometimes I hardly focus on my new job. You see, lack of sleep leads to frustration and bad temper. Sometimes even when I go to bed I was worrying like tomorrow I got to be awaken by the prayers :(.
In addition, the noise pollution is not only during the early morning. During weekends on Sat/Sun, the Malays from the low cost apartment will play their malay drums super loud and sing very loud from like morning 9-10am until 3-4pm! I'm not sure if it's like their practise session or whatever. I couldn't sleep well because of the morning call at 5+am, then I wanted to rest on weekends sleep longer, or nap/rest in the noon also cannot you see. I really don't understand why can't they be considerate about other residents around my area. Therefore, throughout the month of September I was really super frustrated and hence my temper got worsen. Because of all these, I am always unhappy during that period. Throughout the one whole month staying there I couldn't sleep well and I always didn't rest well. Then, I had issues finding people to take over my room so I can move to another room at my friend's place which is at different units. I endured such noise pollution for a month!
Luckily after a mth, I moved to another unit, facing another side of the condo, and hence no more noise pollutions! Peace and quiet! I can finally have my beauty sleep! Too much endurance....
Musical Instruments
I love musical instruments especially the piano. Ever since I am a kid I always wanted to learn piano, really love the sound of the piano! However, my mum refuse to send me for piano lessons :(. She said it is a waste of money. Due to my strong passion for learning the piano, I actually asked my cousin to teach me and even learned myself! She actually teached me up to Level 2 / Grade 1. So I could play the classical music from the typical piano books up to Grade 1-2 only. Then I even joined my school marching/brass band since primary school and that's where I learnt the music theories from.
The other musical instruments I have learnt to play are recorder, french horn and violin. I have forgotten most of the notes already as I haven't been playing all these instruments for ages. Recently, I am keen to learn guitar. I think I got the influence from Jay Chou, Lee Hom & Jayesslee. I feel like it's quite nice if I am able to learn guitar as it's feasible to bring it around to play and sing at the same time. Then there is a friend who is willing to teach so why not! I always thought guitar is quite easy to play but I guess I was very wrong.
After the guitar lesson #101, I realize it's not easy to learn guitar. What's more when I start learning on acoustic guitar and it is really really painful! I would not forget how my friend pressed my fingers on the acoustic guitar strings when I first learn guitar. It is so torturous to the finger tips, my fingers were extremely pain and I even screamed. Despite all the pain, I will keep on practising till my fingers get use to it, won't give up just like that *determined*. I am keen to master the basic chords to play one of my favourite english song. Hopefully it won't take me too long to master the basic chords. I actually took some photos while I was practising the guitar this morning just for fun as I was too free. So I end this post with the photos of me practising the guitar with my bare-faced, without a single make up:-

My Fried Rice
It have been about three months I haven't cook! I am not a good cook as I can only cook simple meals. And ta da, here's my dinner of the night, fried rice with egg, sausage and stir-fried vege. It is edible but it's kinda oily and my vege a bit too salty. My power of estimation for cooking already gone case since I haven't been cooked for such a long time. I guess I am gonna cook more often to improve my cooking skill.

Do I Need a Reason to Fly Back Hometown?
As I have moved to KL for career advancement, I really miss home and I do travel back Miri once in a while. And I am kinda stunned when my friends or colleagues were asking me "What's your purpose of going back Miri?", then even my mum asked me "Why are you coming back to Miri?" These are the response or shall I say 'questions' I got from my friends/colleague/mum that I am coming back home during non-festive season. Hey, Miri is my hometown and I was wondering do I need any reason to fly back my own home?! like seriously? As for my mum, I understand it's because she don't want me to spend the money or burn my leaves to fly home often.
I got really homesick and bought airticket back to Miri a mth in advance to fly back hometown last weekend. So I really enjoy myself back in hometown, I still have many many friends back there, gotten to know new friends everytime I went back and so on...I enjoy the stress free, jam free, peaceful and comfortable life back home. Although the night life in Miri isn't that exciting but I don't even mind, as long as I have a group of friends to chill around the same spot every weekend, it's good enough.
So I told some of my friends/colleagues "I feel like going back Miri to work....miss the life there! Our company is gonna set up an office there right?" My colleague replied me "Yeah, but it's a sales office and are you very career minded? Anyway, I don't think Miri is suitable for you, Miri too quiet already, not suitable for you" Another colleague added "I see you very proactive and career minded so Miri is not suitable for you". Then, I was telling them "I am actually not very career minded and I enjoy peaceful quiet life and no traffic jam". Then my colleague was saying "I see Miri in the next 10 yrs also traffic jam, after experiencing the jam in KL more then you'll get use to it, buy a property nearer to workplace here!". In addition they were saying, if just feel like going back home sometimes, very easy, just buy air ticket fly back anytime, no need move back Miri.
I am officially homesick again although I just went back last weekend.

Re-vamp!
I have finally re-vamp my blog! Is it nice? Most of my photos are in portrait instead of landscape and hence, not many photos I can actually choose from to put on my blog's header. This is not the best picture of mine but the background is beautiful! Stay tuned for more updates!

First post in 2011!
Wow, I'm amazed by myself for not blogging for over a year! Ever since my Sony K800i was spoilt, I never bother to blog because that's the only camera (yes, phone camera) I had been relying during my university years. Blogging are definitely uninteresting without photos. Then moving on...after I started joining the real workforce, life have been pretty boring because of the daily working routine and of course tiring. Anyway, I think the main reason is I lost my passion to blog and I started to enjoy having more privacy, didn't want to share so much of what's happening in my life (as most of the time I blog about my life). However, I may start blogging soon as I've finally got a new smartphone, with camera couple of mths back so we shall see!

So Into KTV
1 of my all time fave, a hobby I developed since university is karaoke!!! I really missed those days where me & a bunch of unimates going to KBox in Ipoh, esp during the final year time, whr we go so frequently. Sometimes we went for the 8pm to 2am session! That's how fanatic we were for KTV. When me & my frens go down to KL, even more syok coz so many RedBox GreenBox ard & the songs there are more updated, esp if you want updated English songs.
1 thing coming back to Miri is no decent KTV places. I asked my fren "eh , wanna sing K in Miri?". My fren will reply me that don't hav a decent place to sing K in Miri. Anyway, the songs in KTV here not updated also & another major factor, TOO PRICEY!!! West Msia is way much cheaper for goodness sake!
For those who can't read chinese words (like me), then u'll have hard time for KTV coz most of the songs are Chinese songs. For me, I used to memorize lyrics and can read some. Sometimes when I looked back, I think I have to thank my dad for forcing me to join Chinese extra class in my primary sch (1 week once) or else I can't even read a single chinese word. I find my chinese class fun bcoz of the existence of PIN YIN. That's how I master my Chinese during primary sch. The standard of Chinese that I learned is up to abt Primary 3 only anyway.
Finally, there is a place in Miri with even more updated chinese songs to sing. That's a private residence of course, not public KTV place. If I were to have my house equipped with KTV system, I think I every week gonna ask my frens over to party + sing-a-long with me. OMG darn syok!
Last nite shall be my first time drinking + singing. But healthy alcohol ok coz it's red wine. After 2-3 glass of red wine I a bit hin dy. I think it's bcoz I ate less during dinner plus I quite long din drink dy so kinda fast hin.
But still very sober & can sing.

It's Over
Some ppl just couldn't accept the fact that everything was over.
And wishfully thinking things will return to 'em one fine day
(which will never ever happen).
Although nth is impossible, thr is always an exceptional case.
Thought for the day: "You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone."

Speak is Silver, Silence is Gold
It seems like the more I speak, things got worse. Sometimes, I felt like a born loser when it comes to arguments. From past till present, I always ended up being hurted the most *sigh*. Sometimes somehow, I wished if I could speak like a pro debater/lawyer so firm and steady, never break down, win/lose with glory. I should practice silence is gold more rather than speak is silver. Gold is definitely better than silver rite!
