Bubble Time

Grandma's have the coolest stuff. Madison is playing in the bubble machine. Ever
since she discovered it, she has played with the bubbles over and over. I can't complain I don't have to blow the bubbles again and again and again.

Spa Time!

Here we are relaxing in Grandmas and Grandpas Spa! Madison and her cousin Caitlyn are having a slumber party on our last night here. Madison won't get in the pool but she loves to get in the spa she calls it, "her little pool, the hot one." We have gotten in quite a few times. Garrett loves it too!!!!

Sibling Love

Finally we have taken a professional picture of Madison and Garrett together. It seems that everytime we take a picture of her holding Garrett, he has a look of, "Get me off of her!" It is still really cute!

Strike a Pose

We went and took pictures of the cousins. Caitlyn(6) Madison(3) Jacob(2) Ashton(2) Aiden(10months) Garrett( 4 months). It was an adventure to say the least! 6 kids under the age of 6!

My new outfit

Madison got a new outfit. She loves it. I think her favorite parts of the outfit are the boots and the hat.

Trying new things

Garrett is trying to sit up. He can prop himself on his hands for a few moments and in this picture he actually perked up when he knew I was taking the picture.
Another thing he is doing is reaching for toys while on his tummy. He has been fascinated by this car for a few days now. He is now 4 months 3 weeks.

Toes Anyone!

Garrett has found the toes. In the car seat he eats them on the floor he constantly has them in his hands. It is a love affair with the toes.

Bay Beach

We went to Bay Beach with all the cousins. The rides were similar to the ones you find at the fair. A big difference in Madison this year, last year she screamed when she went on a little train at the fair. She loved the rides and could have rode them all night long. She even went on a big slide, Diantha had to go with her. She did scream all the way down but it really was big!

A Day On The Farm

Madison and Garrett went out and visited Grandpa's farm. Madison would only go near the calf if the fence gate was shut. Garrett as you can see got right on and even gave a smile.

A Day in the Park

We went to spray park in Green Bay. All the cousins had a blast. Madison wouldn't even go in the water. She just pushed the button over and over to keep the water on for the kids.
She did really like the rest of the play equipment at the park. This was her first experience with a teter totor(How ever you spell it). I am not sure if she really liked it.

Childrens Museum Take 2

We went to another Childrens Museum in Appleton Wiscosin. This one was much better than the one we went to in Salt Lake. This one was amazing some of Madison's favorite thigns were. Playing the doctor in a baby doll hospital nursery complete with scrubs and all the things you would find in a baby nursery. She even had fun taking care of Garrett. She was flew a plane that had a simulator that helped them know if they were flying the plane straight. Being the grocery clerk at a store. Hanging out in a oversized chair in Grandmas dress-up attic. There was a whole room to make crafts. Playing in all the water toys, she even had a put a rain coat on. I think her favortie part was being a firfighter, she was in the full gear boots and all. She drove the engine and pretended she was putting a fire out and saving people. She also got to dressup in costumes. She chose to be a frog. We had a lot of fun nd spent a few hours just exploring.

In Wisconsin, Madison and Garrett get to spend lots of time with the cousins. This has become a source of troubles too. There is a lot of competition for attention. Madison is not used to sharing people with so many kids at one time. On the other hand Madison has had playmates and she really likes that.

Plane Ride

Madison, Garrett and Diantha went on a plane ride to Wisconsin. Madison thought is was neat to be on a plane and kept saying we were bumping into the clouds. They both did really well even with a 6 hour layover in Minesota!

I'm 4 Months Old!

Garrett was 4 months old on the 3rd of August.

He weighed in at 15lbs 6 oz and is 26 inches in length.
He is growing and amazes us everyday with something new that he picks up.
Right now he is pushing on his hands doing mini pushups, working on his big big muscles! He used to just hang out on his elbows, not as much fun apparently.
He is now nearing the triple birthweight mark and is more than half of Madison's weight and she is 3.
Garrett is all BOY!

The Childrens Museum

We went to the Children's Museum in Salt Lake. Everything is hands on for the kids so of course Madison had a lot of fun pretending and trying new things. She went shopping in the mini kid size store where they got to shop, bag and also take a turn being the checkout clerk.
She got to be the baker and make cookies. She even got to be the pilot of an airplane. She thought that was pretty neat. Madison played some games painted pictures, made a mask, and learned about animals. She put on a puppet show too. Although Rachel and David put on a pretty good puppet show. And the whole time Garrett slept in the stroller. He missed everything!

Our Trip to Utah

We went to Utah last weekend and visited with our friends Rachel and David and also with The Rush family. Garrett and Rhees are about 5 weeks apart. They weren't really sure what to think about each other hopefully next time we visit they will play with each other a little more. Madison had to be apart of the picture and insisted on acting like a baby. We had a blast going to the Children's Museum and the outdoor fountain at the Gateway Mall.
