Scrapbooking again

Finally able to sit down and start on Garrett's scrapbook. I know it is pathetic but at least it is started now. Just click on the small picture and you will see a few more layouts.

Loving Joann Fabrics

I am loving their clearance! I picked up these foam sticker sheets printed with a picture and then all the sticker foam pieces and it came in a 3 pack everything included for 1.50, they were marked down 85%!!!! It is wonderful Madison can do it all by herself and she is very proud of her creations adn I think it took her a good 45minutes, that is time I was able to get something done. I picked up some other things all less then 1.50 for us to do when the weather gets cold and we are stuck inside more but she couldn't resist making this one!

Madison's Turn

Now it is Madison's turn. She started swim lesson on Saturday. This is her first time ever in an organized swim lesson. She is afraid to not be able to touch and she panics if her face gets close to the water. She did really well and barely stuck her nose in the water to blow bubbles. But it is working yesterday we went to the pool to swim and practice and she got to where she would put her whole face in the water and hold it for more than an second. I hope this continues. The second pic they are playing red light/ green light and splashing the teacher.

Madison Gymnastics

Madison had so much fun at her first Gymnastics at the YMCA. I didn't get any still shots she was too excited but I did get a little video of her on the balance beam walking backwards.

Garrett's Swim Lessons

Garrett had his first swim lesson this morning. He had fun with his Daddy, it works out great that Dave can take him and it can be their time together. Blowing Bubbles, learning to use his arms and kick his feet.




And most of all he LOVES the water!

New Do

Madison got a haircut. She is very excited about this haircut. I got tired of looking at her stray ends and limp hair, her hair is so thin! Hopefully it will thicken up some, because I really wanted to grow her hair out long! ONE DAY!

Dressing Up

Had a fun time today dressing up. Madison even dressed up Garrett and then Garrett went up and woke up Dave, who told Garrett he shouldn't be wearing those. But look at that face so proud! =)

Look what we made

Madison and I made this bulletin board this morning. She had a lot of fun with glue and holding ribbon and fabric in the right places.

Heritage Festival

Over Labor Day weekend we went to the annual Heritage Festival here. I was fun to walk around, eat some good food! But it was sooo hot! I managed to get one picture of the kids in the cute little picture opportunity!

Assume the Position!

When Garrett assumes this position we know that sleep is not far behind! Especially when we are in the car he puts his hand behind his head like he is chilling and than he is out! So cute!

Another Home Depot

I tell you, We LOVE to go to Home Depot the first Saturday of the month and make the FREE wood craft for the month. No clean up on our part they even supply the paint and the kids get a pin every time they come and do one, to add to their aprons. Garrett even got into the action this time. For anyone with kids it is worth checking into at your local Home Depot. A good Daddy thing to do!
