LATEST RECORDING

Saturday was the big day, I recorded the next three songs for my album. I realized that I really need to practice more so that my instrument (my voice) more prepared for those long recording sessions. I was supposed to sing 4 songs, but my voice died after three songs, which took about 4 hours total to record. Again, it was an awesome experience and I loved learning ways to make an old song new again!

New songs

Well, I head to the recording studio next Saturday to record my next 4 songs. It's been so difficult trying to pick the "right" 4 songs for my voice. I'm not even sure I have the 4 picked out just yet. I know I want to do "Glory" by Selah and "Redeemer" by Nicole C. Mullen. I'm so excited about the positive response I've gotten from the first song and hope the next 4 will be just as wonderful. It's great to see this ministry opening up to me and it will be great to see where God leads me.

By the way, I had a great time listening to some GREAT music in Norfolk, Va last night - I went to see Josh Groban. Josh was FABULOUS!!! We also stayed at this awesome little Bed and Breakfast in Portsmouth called the Olde Towne Inn Bed & Breakfast. We had a relaxing time (with the exception of traffic).
