Daffodil Field 2012

This is our 3rd year taking pictures at the daffodil field in Winterville. This year proved to have it's challenges, as the twins are so independent and don't really want to follow mommy's directions to hold hands, hug, or sit side by side. The photos are not what I envisioned when we set out to Winterville, but they're still beautiful because they're my babies in this precious toddler stage of life. Berkley is just as handsome as can be and I love Meredith's looks in many of these pictures; you can just see how free she feels being in this open field of flowers.

These are the best pictures of the two of them together that I could capture.

I wanted pictures of flowers, but I'll take pinecones if they make you smile.

Looking Back

A dear friend of ours took some of these pictures when the twins weren't even a day old yet and the ones in the carseats when they arrived home from the hospital. I've had the on Facebook, but until today had not put them on the blog. For memory's sake, I wanted to be sure I posted them here. It's so hard to remember when they were this little. They are going to be 3 years old in just 2 months! My precious babies!!!

Look how tiny Meredith was!

I love how Berkley's little toes are fanned out. He always loved touching things with his feet when he was a baby. Even today, I'm so in love with his pretty feet, I kiss them as often as I can. One day they're going to be big and stinky, so I've got to get all the kisses in now.

Mommy Moments

I couldn't resist capturing this moment of Berkley actually sitting still in my lap. I love how he played with my hands. I didn't move for 10 minutes just because I didn't want to run the risk of him losing interest and getting up.

Puddle Fun!

One post for the sunshine and one post for the rain. We had a good bit of rain here this past weekend. The sun came out long enough for us to get outside to play. And what better entertainment for two year olds than to play in mud puddles? We began with boots on, but as you can see, they were tossed away by the end of play time.

Dandelions and Daffodils

I haven't posted in forever, mostly because I've been too lazy. But, I haven't been too lazy to take pictures, which is mostly what you'll be getting in the next few posts.
