Our new home

Steven and I stayed up until 5am Thursday night into Friday morning packing our duplex for the big move into our first house on Friday. We were so thankful to be able to hire movers to do all of the heavy lifting! It was a long day but we were settled snuggly into our new home on Friday evening. We woke up this morning feeling like we were at a bed and breakfast! We absolutely adore our new home and are having fun settling in. We hope folks will be able to stop by and see us. We're across from the ECU baseball and football stadiums, so we're in the midst of all of the ECU action! We've attached one photo of our new home, but hope to add more once I can figure out where we packed the digital camera.

It's Official!

What a weekend! Steven is officially Dr. Steven Manning!!! We have celebrated for two days straight and I am pooped. We have had an amazing time celebrating with family and friends. Today was very special, as Steven's brother and sister-in-law hosted a pig-pickin' for our family and friends to celebrate this momentous occasion. It is still extremely surreal for me. It's hard to believe that Steven and I have come from being 16 year old high school sweethearts, to being married for nearly six years and now he is a medical doctor. This is definitely not what I expected when we were graduating from high school, but I'm so thankful. I know God is going to use Steven in so many ways to minister to and serve people in Eastern NC. Congratulations to my husband, Dr. Steven Manning!
