Loving the Snow

We went over to Torie's today and played in the snow. The kids had so much fun.

I took way too many pictures, but they are all so dang cute.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!

We had another wonderful Christmas this year.

We started out the week by going to the Gillman Christmas Party. We ate a yummy dinner and then had a small program. My kids we in the nativity.

They make a pretty cute donkey and lamb.

On Tuesday we did last some last minute Christmas shopping, and then took the kids to the "Planet 51"movie. Followed by eating pizza and watching the BYU game.

On Wednesday, Jenicee took all of the Jacobson boys up to Park City to go tubing. Colby and Hanks had a lot of fun.

Thursday we went with the Christofferson's, my mom and Kelly and saw the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.
That night we spend Christmas eve at the Jacobsons. Colby had to work that night, but he still had time to eat, and get in a quick picture.

The next morning, I kept the kids busy until Colby got home from work. Santa spoiled the kids with some wonderful toys. Here's some of their favorites.

Then it was off to my mom's for breakfast.

My parents still spoiled us, even though they had already bought all our airfare to Mexico for Christmas.

Then we headed to the Jacobsons to open presents.

We got spoiled there too.

That night Colby and the kids went to the Gillmans, I had to go to work.

The next day Colby and I decided we had seen way too many kid movies lately, so we ditched the kids and went on a date and saw Invictus and went to dinner.

We had a wonderful Christmas and we are very grateful for our family and friends.

"Tis the Season"

It's that time of year when you just go, go, go. It is so fun, and crazy. I should be doing a million things right now, but I have to sit down and blog before I forget.

Last Monday night, we went to the mall with all of the Jacobson's to sit on Santa's lap.

Afterwards we all went to dinner. On the way home, we started looking at Christmas lights. We rolled down the windows, turned the heater up, and all sat up front, while singing Christmas songs. It sounds kind of cheesy, but It was just what we needed to get into the holiday spirit. Next thing I know, it was after 11, we had been out a long time.

Oh, and during the day, I had to take a final. While I was gone, Colby let Hadlee decorate the Tree. He had taken her shopping a few days before and let her pick out whatever ornaments she wanted. I was a little scared, and yes, it does look kind of funny with ribbon all over the place. But she loves it, and she did it herself.

With us getting it up late, I thought, what the heck, let her do it. She will be sad next year when we do it my way......

Wednesday I took my last final............ I am so glad this semester is over with. I ended up getting and A- and a B+.... I am actually pretty proud of them, for the little effort I put into them. I had to work that night, but Colby took the kids to "The Princess and the Frog." I know they had fun, because for the next few days, all they could talk about was dad taking them to the show.

Thursday when I took the kids to school, Santa had just stopped by to visit. Once again, Hadlee couldn't wait to talk to him.

Hanks, not so much

That night, we went to Cole's preschool performance.

Hanks would yell out, "Cole, Coley...." Until Cole would wave at him. It was really cute.

Afterwards, they got to visit with Santa.... Hadlee was so excited that she got to see him twice in one day.

Hanks did not choose to participate..... Afterwards we headed up to my mom's to celebrate her Birthday.

Friday night I had to work so Colby went to a Christmas party with friends by himself. Of course, no picture.

Hadlee got to go up to Salt Lake and spend the night with Jenicee, Grandma Jake, and all the girls. They went to dinner, swam in the pool, and spend the night up there. The next morning they got dressed up and went to a "Tea Party" with Mrs. Clause.

It sounds like they had a fun time.

My Grandpa Ralph came up from Manti during the day on Saturday, and spent some time at my mom's while Susan and Kate did some Christmas shopping. It was nice to go over and see him, we don't get down to see him enough.

That afternoon Hanks and I made a cake for a party. Hanks thinks he is big and loves licking out the bowls.

That night, we had a Christmas Party with some of Colby's friends from work.

Yesterday we went and saw Grandma Jake sing in the choir.

Afterwards we took Grandma Betty to lunch at Mimi's.

And this is Hads last night around 6pm. Party-ing really wears her out.

So, that was last week, this week looks to be just as busy.
