I'm Just Saying.......

I was okay being pregnant through the summer, up until this past week. Holy HOT!!!!! I don't mean to complain, but WOW!!! I feel swollen all the time and I"m constantly hot. Last Thursday, my back really started hurting. All of the sudden I can't get comfortable and feel miserable. And to make things worse, I was working last night, and started to contract. Weird contractions, that hurt in my bottom. So I had one of the nurses check me and I am 2 cm, but my small child who has been head down this whole pregnancy, is now breech. I seriously can't win...... All day today I have been having sharp pains like the kid is trying to flip back, but can't. I had a melt down thinking about all of the weird stuff that can happen, You shouldn't work at a high risk hospital when you are pregnant. So I went in and had an NST and an Ultrasound to make sure everything was okay, and to ease my mind. So who knows what and when things will happen. I think we will try to turn it, if it doesn't turn itself, but if I keep contracting and dilating, who knows. I don't really want a c-section, but things could be worse.

I am hoping that the weather gets a little cooler, and that this kid can become a gymnast.

Too Fast!!!!

Summer is flying by way to fast. I am now 35 weeks pregnant. This past week has been hot and I am starting to really feel swollen. This poor kid has no name, no room, and not a thing ready for it to come. My parents are in Alaska, so I like to tease them that I am going to have it when they are gone. We are getting really excited and I can't wait to just cuddle with this little one.

Colby got an interview with Midwestern, in Arizona. I have mixed feelings about this and we still have no clue where or when he will be going. He interviews in a few weeks, so we will see.

We are selling our house to our friends and neighbors behind us. So we are actually staying around this weekend to get some things done.

Here is my attempt to catch up on what we have been doing. I think 6 posts in one day is my new record. From visitig the Dr, to LP, to lots of camping, I think I am caught up.

Palisades

Last Thursday morning we took off to Palisades. It was so relaxing and fun. Aunt Pam and Uncle Jim go to so much work, so that we can all have fun.

Most of our time was spend playing in the water, visiting, golfing, eating, and staying up way too late.

Hanks thought he was the official boat keeper and liked to pretend to tie them up. It actually kept him occupied for hours. He would tell everyone that he was a "Hard Worker."

Hadlee loved having so many girls to play with and would become part of the Smart family if we would let her.

We did so many fun things. Rubber Ducky races, Treasure hunts, Hula-hoop contests, Tie-dying, Kite flying, and even an electric parade on bikes.

4th of July Fun

The Varney clan all came up to our property over the 4th of July weekend. We mostly just relaxed and had fun.

Weekend at the Cabin

We spent 4 fun filled days up at the cabin with all of the Jacobson's. Since we were all together, we got a group shot. Not the best pic of everyone, but at least everyone was there.

We went on lots of 4-wheeler rides, went fishing a few times, rode the horses and just played.
