Easter Attire

Whoever said taking pictures of toddlers in church clothes was easy...well, actually, I don't think anyone ever said that! As you can tell from these pictures, I will probably Photoshop two of the pictures to get a good one!

Brittany and Michael wanted to have their pictures taken (before 9:00 church, of course) of their Easter outfits. The outfits were purchased by Grammy and Granddad, and they loved them. This was the best picture of the day (by the way, we were a little late for church).

Coloring Easter Eggs

The kids love (understatement) to color Easter eggs! They really think about what they are doing and what colors they like best. I only cooked a dozen eggs (which I thought was enough), but when they were done they wanted more. Since I'm the only one in the household who will eat hard boiled eggs, I thought more than 12 would be too much to eat. Jamie says he doesn't care and we should do more next year (I'll have him cook them next year). Brittany waiting and being very thoughtful.

Mud Lovers....

We've had a fairly wet winter (between snow and rain) which has created lots of mud in our backyard. These pictures are a few weeks old (when it was still a little chilly) but were taken after a hard rainfall. The kids were dying to go outside and play in all of the puddles as well as our fire pit (which was filled with lovely, dirty water). So, here they are having a great time, and I just kept repeating to myself, "It's only mud; it will come off."
