Confessions.... vol 2

WOW!!!
Thank YOU so much for all the encouraging words and for coming upfront and sharing your quirkquiness with me. I feel SO much better and I knew you would all stay friends with me because...well I know you already knew me, I was warning the new people that just read my blog but never leave a message and that I don't know who they are.

I would like to point out that the pictures were taken by a great friend and photographer Emily I love her work and we had a great time doing to photo shoot.

Ok, as much stalling as I want to do I must get back to business so here they are... please remember I'm an "ordinary Mom"

1.- I can not start a video on Youtube until the red loading bar is full. It bugs me horribly! why would you go and bother the poor video before he gets a hold of himself and can show himself properly?!
2.- I used to (up until I got married) fold my dirty laundry :-)............do you really want to know why?!!
3.- I fold my plastic grocery bags.... I USED to fold them in triangle shapes but I don't really have time for that anymore, so I make balls with them.
4.- When I brush my teeth I HAVE to brush the top first, because then they won't get dirty while I brush the bottom.
I can't do number 5 today..................sorry. I'm too tired, I've been staring at the computer for 20 minutes now and nothing comes, but I promise I'll make up next week.

Confessions....

About a month ago, while I talked to a new member of the community here at KAUST, I found myself saying "I'm kind of weird about this and that" a LOT and the truth is.... I am :-) I have problems and even though some I have no desire to fix, I think that acknowledging them is a start, so here it goes, for your pure entertainment.....

1.- I don't use the brush I have to rinse dishes ( I use my hands) because I don't want it to get dirty. It looks gross when it's dirty.
2.- We have two different sets of two light switches in our bedroom and  (to me) the must match in position, well the set that is by the door in our room should. I rather get out of bed and turn the lights off there than use the one right next to my bed if it means that they will stay matching (meaning both down or up)
3.- I buy sponges for the dishes by the bulk and they come in different colors. I "have" to use the colors I don't like first. For this one I don't know why, but I know I have to.
4.-No one but me should be in the same room that I am sweeping.
5.- I don't believe anyone really knows how to sweep. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but in my little head it is the truth.

Wow! I can go on and on but I think I'll make it a series. Next week you can read about more ;-).......................................and then decide if you want to be my friend :-(

All about the little one

 This is Victoria, our little baby girl. She has no hopes of becoming a big girl, no one in the family is encouraging her :-(

 As little as she is she can make BIG things happen.

Guess who is potty trained? and who did it in about a week?!!!!

I'm sorry, I know I am bragging but she did it. We had been trying for a couple of weeks but I know that I wasn't doing my part, some days she will wear a diaper and some not at all.

But,  one day, daddy was home and she went to the potty and Daddy made a huge deal of it and ever since that day she has had about 4 accidents!!! and she just tells me "I need to go potty"

 When she is all done she says "No more diapers for me!!"

She also loves the attention and everytime she goes #2 she SCREAMS  "COME SEE THE POOPIES COME SEE THE POOPIES!!!"

I don't really like looking at them, so I go take a peak and flush as fast as I can. Today, Elena cried because I flushed before she got to see it. Victoria was so sweet she said "Don't worry Elena I'll go poopy again and I call you first,ok?"

She is super sweet, she likes to share her snacks with her little friends, she ALWAYS says "thank you" even when she doesn't need to. Like "Mom thank you for making dinner for daddy" or "thank you for wearing a pretty dress"
She LOVES her sister, she tells her "Oh I missed you Elena" when Elena comes home from school and if Elena is crying she always goes to her and tries to make it better (even if she was the cause of the tears)

Our sweet little girl is growing and getting cuter by the minute, she has a gift for melting her daddy's heart about 90% of the time they are together. She is the best little buddy to have during the day while I miss my Elena and David.

She had such a hard time the first week of school. The first day of school, after we came home from dropping Daddy and Elena off she cried for about an hour, she didn't want to be held, she needed to get it out. After she was done she said to me "I need a hug now" We've made it a "Victoria week" the first week and I believe now we are doing much much better.

 I love you Victoria, life is wonderful when you are part of it....now please stop growing!!!

-She reminds me of Grandpa Jensen, she often calls Elena "My sweet heart" when they play princesses.
-She tells me "Mommy you are in Trouble! this much trouble, you need to go on time out and come back when you are nice to ELENA"
-"Mom the poopy is not coming out, can you squeeze me?"
-Whenever she finds me in the spare room (which was my mom's while she was here) "GET OUT OF CHICHA'S ROOM!!!  this is HER room you need to get out now!!!"
-when she prays at night she says " tell Chicha I miss her SO much", "please bring my Chicha back", "make Chicha come back to my house"
(Chicha is my mom)
