SOOOOOO BIG!

Today Kent put Boston on the couch and stood him up. He rested him on the back of the couch and let go and look what he did for a good minute!
After about a minute he just collapsed onto his knees! He's really good at standing up and LOVES to do it! If he is getting a little fussy and you let him stand up, he stops fussing and starts to really concentrate on standing big and tall! TOO CUTE!
P.S. Yes I KNOW this outfit is a little small. Kent got him dressed today and I told him that it didn't fit him anymore but he didn't want to change him out of it....hopefully there is a little room in that onesie so he can breath!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Yesterday was Kent and mine's 3rd ANNIVERSARY! Can you believe its already been three years? As Kent likes to say, we're on the five year plan....so two more years and we'll decide to renew or go our seperate ways! HA! I think now that we have a son involved its kind of a sealed deal but that's just me!

Any way, it was a great day! Kent brought me my FAV Chick-fil-a breakfast which I was totally surprised by when he came home from working out. Then we had lunch together at where else but RAISING CANES! I swear we eat there ALL the time! Kent headed out to sell and I ran a few quick errands. We decided not to give each other presents this year, but I thought I'd be SOMEWHAT creative and buy him a funny card and make some homemade coupons. Original right?

Kent came home, surprised me with roses and a card that surprisingly had some cash for me to go shopping (SO SWEET OF HIM!) and we headed to Kiers and Taylor's who graciously agreed to watch Boston while we went out. We decided to go to The Melting Pot for our anniversary since neither of us had never been there and we'd heard good things. The food was DELICIOUS! I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect and also if I'd get full off "fondue." It was a VERY intimate, quiet setting which I would suggest to ANYONE. I gave Kent his card/coupons and I think he really liked it. I know there's a few in there he can't wait to use (i.e. a day without having to take Stella outside AT ALL, getting to play basketball ALL THREE nights they play during the week). I left there filled but I didn't feel gross full. I think it's because instead of stuffing your face all at once you have to dip, wait, and then eat. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Yes that is lobster that neither of us had EVER tried but we did and surprisingly I REALLY liked it!

I made the waitress bring some more strawberries and brownies to dip
SOOOOO GOOD!
This is Kent being Kent at a nice restuarant..HA! Gotta love him!
THREE YEARS!!!
TAG YOU'RE IT!

Why I blog:
  • It's the easiest way for me to write and keep track of journeling
  • So friends and family can keep up with our life!
  • To stay in touch and communicate with others

Jobs I've had:

  • Babysitting
  • Hancock Investment Center---nothing important just filed and inputted numbers...pretty boring but I appreciated the job any.
  • Jacintos---hostess with KIERSTEN! This is where I gained a bazillion pounds in college drinking Mt. Dew, eating chips and salsa, taco salad, taco bar and ice cream! HEY it was cheap or FREE at that matter and I was a poor college student!
  • CheeBurger Cheeburger waitress--actually really enjoyed this job...probably because I made good money.
  • Western Watts--Kent and I were those annoying people who called your house asking for surveys. Hey, we didn't have tons of money and Rexburg doens't offer many jobs. Let's just say we didn't work there for very long....I HATED IT!
  • Source Pest Control---2 summers in a row...made good money but now I just leave it all to Kent!
  • I AM MOTHER! The most rewarding job yet!

Places for a weekend getaway

  • Back home to Louisiana
  • Kansas City, KS to see Kristin, Chad and the girls
  • San Antonio or Austin

Movies I can watch again and again:
  • How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days
  • Dirty Dancing
  • The Notebook
  • All John Grisham books made movies

Guilty Pleasures:

  • POPCORN! YUM!

What I first thought when I saw Kent:

  • Which time? When we were younger I don't really remember thinking anything of him...I don't really even remember meeting him for the VERY first time. I just remember all the girls at church (including both my sisters!) thought he was REALLY cute! I didn't care too much or ever look at him twice back then. The first time I saw him after his mission was completely different. Him and Taylor came over to hang out with Kari and I opened the door. I didn't know how to react towards him. He looked alot more attractive to me than he did BEFORE his mission! I honestly think my mouth kind of dropped a little and I was speechless....it was a little awkward I will admit!
Places I've been on vacation:

  • Utah
  • Idaho
  • Marco Island
  • Hawaii
  • Disneyworld
  • Pensacola, FL
  • Jackson Hole
  • Palmyra, NY
  • San Antonio
  • Cabo San Lucas
  • So Cal
  • Tennessee
  • Arizona
  • Virgnia
  • Colorado
  • Philmont, New Mexico
Favorite Foods:

  • Nothing beats a good Mexican dinner!

If I'm in a jam with Kent, tactics I use to get out of the doghouse:

  • This one is hard because normally I'm not the one in the doghouse! Kent says that's because I get mad too easily and he's more easy going! But if I am in the wrong then I'll eventually get the courage to admit I'm wrong and apoligize.....this is definately hard for BOTH of us to do but Kent is always very good about excepting my apologizes! And if I KNOW I'm going to be in the doghouse...like when I go shopping and I shouldn't have spent money...I buy him something that he wants and that usually settles him down!

Places I've lived:

  • Colorado Springs, CO
  • Columbus, OH
  • Baton Rouge, LA
  • Prospect, KY
  • Provo, UT
  • Rexburg, ID
  • Carrollton, TX
  • Charlotte, NC
First kiss location:

  • My first kiss EVER or my first kiss with Kent? Umm...my very FIRST kiss was Greg Hammonds at my going away party when we were moving to Kentucky. All our friends were in the room encouraging him to kiss me and I was SOO nervous! He finally did it happily and I took the quick peck a little embarrassed knowing all our friends were watching. I know it was impersonable and SOOO UNROMANTIC but what do you expect in the 5th grade? My first kiss with Kent was on Feb. 14th 2004....we had taken a trip with all our friends (Kiers, Taylor, Ciara, Kari and Jared Jarreau) to Cali for a weekend getaway to the beach. We stayed at the Decker's house and I was SOOO excited to have Kent for a weekend! We were about to go to bed for the night and I was WAITING AND WAITING for Kent to make the move....I don't know if maybe he was a little shy since I was the first girl he'd been with post mission or what but I was tired of waiting so I finally went in for the kill and made the first move. After that he took it away and took charge! HA! So if it weren't for me who knows we may have never kissed! HA! Yeah right but I like to give myself the credit! But it was definately a GREAT weekend when I think I really new I wanted to be with him! Not only did Kent and I happen this weekend but it was also the weekend Kiers decided to go back to Taylor and if it weren't for that weekend they may not be married today!

Places I'd rather be:

  • ANY BEACH with Kent and Little Boss! Perferably Seaside, FL or Cabo, Mexico.
  • Las Vegas
  • New York
  • Italy so Kent can show me all the wondeful things that place has to offer!

People I tag:

  • Kristin
  • Kiersten----I don't know if you'll do it but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...common what else do you have to do at work?
I'm SOOO proud about Boston's progress on holding up his head! Yesterday when I had him down for tummy time he had his head up almost the ENTIRE time! He's getting SO big and strong!
KENT IS THE BIRTHDAY BOY!

Unfortunately our internet has been down for the past TWO days! To say that it was no big deal would be a lie! I do everything on the internet and honestly I can hardly live without it! Sad I know!

But I just wanted to post some pictures of Kent's birthday! And BOY does Kent love his birthday! All day he will say, "Well I'm the birthday boy!" for EVERYTHING! All in all hopefully it was a good day for him. He was free of taking Stella out all day which I'm SURE he loved, we had lunch together (which NEVER happens), opened his presents, I made him a cake (which we didn't actually get to eat until AFTER basketball..but oh well that's what he wanted to do and it was HIS day!), and we got to go out to eat with all our friends....except Kiers and Taylor because they HAD to get married on his birthday!! I will say I slacked a little this year on his birthday. Normally I go all out, or try to, with decorations and cute surprises and give real good thoughtful gifts, but this year honestly I guess I was just too lazy to do it. Not that I'm loving him any less but he didn't want me spending alot of money this year and honestly my creative side (the little I actually DO have) just wasn't turned on! So anyway, here are a few pictures from his big day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!
P.S. We are having our first potential buyer come look at the Lexus today....cross your fingers that they buy!
OUR WEEKEND!

I guess you could say that Kent took Saturday off to "hang out with his wife and son" but I think he's just been really stressed lately and really just wanted a day of relaxtion. I must say it was fun having him the whole day because this NEVER happens! We are trying to sell the Lexus (since we have a pretty penny that we owe to Pinnacle since we didn't finish out the summer with them) and so just to see what CarMax would give us, we headed over there to find out that it was about $6000 LESS than what we could sell it for ourselves!!! So we jetted out ASAP and decided we would just sell it ourselves.

Very sad to let go of her! But Kent said that probably in January we can get the Infiniti FX35...SOLD!

On our way home Kent said he wanted to take me out to "Market Place" out in McKinney. It's kind of like a whole foods but has a little bit more. He wanted to take me to eat the food their because he is IN LOVE with it because they have the same mozerella cheese and raw ham that Kent ate in Italy. So on our way out to McKinney we went. Our trip out their Saturday REALLY sealed the deal for me to want to live out there. We stopped by Craig Ranch which "a 2,500-acre master-planned, mixed-use development located in one of the most exciting growth centers of the Southwest – McKinney, Texas. Here, business, entertainment, and residential life converge in a “New Urbanism” concept reminiscent of yesterday’s hometowns, with all the state-of-the-art amenities you’d expect in a quality, world-class development." IT WAS BEAUTIFUL and I WILL live their one day! I wish I could describe it. They are going to feature the PGA Tour on their golf course and it's all like high end homes. There are townhomes there that I'm interested in buying instead of a home now. They are about 2100 sq. ft. with tile floor, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash and MORE! There are more options that come with it for the price than the house we want to build. SOOO I'm kinda leaning towards that! We'll see! Over all I'm just really sold on moving out to McKinney! I LOVE the area and everytime I go out there sells me on it more!

Anyway, so we ate at Market Place after seeing Craig Ranch, drove by what could possibley be our neighborhood one day, and then of course I talked Kent into going over to StoneBriar Mall. Little did he know we'd be walking out with Boston's bedding! Since we got his bedding of course we had to stop and get his mattress on the way home too! I put it all together that night and had Kent hang the pictures above the bed. Last night was Boston's first night alone in his room and that was a very brave thing for me to do. Every noise I heard I made Kent go check on him and make sure he was still there and not kidnapped and that he was still breathing. Well he made it through the night and quite frankly I think he LOVES his bedding! This morning at ten to eight I walked in HOPING he was still alive and sure enough he was laying there cooing and smiling!

So the room is quite finished, still needs much work but it's on it's way....little by little! Atleast Boss can sleep in his own bed now!

Boston's first few naps in his bed! Notice two things 1-the dog his Auntie Kristin, Uncle Chad, Rylee and Sophie gave him (HE LOVES IT...SERIOUSLY!) and 2-how he always manages to get his arms out of his blanket and and right by his head!

TEN MILLION STRONG......AND GROWING!

As you can tell by the pictures, Boston is getting HUGE! It seems like it happened overnight really. So on Saturday I decided I would try on some of his 3-6 month clothes. Surprisingly they actually fit! It sort of made me sad knowing he's not going to be wearing any of the other clothes any longer but also excited knowing I can go out and buy some more 3-6 month clothes! I don't know how excited Kent will be about that but I that's probably the size of clothes that I don't have anything of! Thankfully right now there are a few 0-3 month clothes he fits into but he's definitely moving on up!

Ok I know that it's August and about 100 degrees outside but I just wanted him to try on the whole onsamble(sp?)! Don't worry we didn't take him out with the beanie and socks! But this was the first outfit Kent and I bought him the DAY we found out we were having a boy! We were SOOO excited but I don't know how excited Boston is to be wearing it now....

OH! And I thought this was funny... on Saturday night after we got home Stella I guess made her way up on the back of the couch and under this blanket! I asked Kent where she was and low and behold she had found her way under this blanket on back of the couch! Can you find Stella???

..........???
There she is!!!!!
AND OUR NEW CALLING IS.....

Did I ever tell anyone that we got callings? It has been oh....about 2 1/2 years since I've had a calling. How I got away with that I have no idea but I wasn't necessarily complaining. Well the Lord decided to get back at me since he gave Kent and I the wonderful calling of becoming nursery assistants! Okay, okay I can say that I wasn't totally disappointed about it. I can say I'd perfer this over MANY other callings. We met with the nursery leader last Thurs and she filled us in and told us we were going to be over the 18 month old kids...more like BABIES! Maybe since I've never had a 18 month child, I didn't fully understand how much this kids don't comprehend! We prepared a lesson and thought we had some cute things prepared for Sunday. Well, when the first few kids came I knew we weren't going to do those things. These children can't even talk in sentences let alone sit and comprehend a lesson or even color a picture! This is definately going to test Kent's patience...there were a few times on Sunday where I caught him big eyed, holding his breath and trying to stay calm! I guess this is going to prepare us for our future with Boston. They said it was a temporary calling only through December...but I'm sure they tell everyone that who gets called. If they are trying to get us to stay in the ward I don't know if this is the way to do it......Oh and did I mention I'm also taking care of Boston at the same time as trying to keep 5 (soon to be 7) kids in line?

DEPRESSION?

I think Stella officially hates her life! I feel so bad for her because ever since Boston was born I don't think she gets the attention she wants! She is SOO bored being in the house ALL day. She no longer has Camden (her best bud) to play with and she hasn't been to the dog park--which she loves and goes CRAZY every time you mention it---in AGES! I try to go on walks with Boston and Stella but sometimes its just TOO hot and I really don't feel like it. I'm terrible I know. So I left to run some errands today and I came home to let her out of her kennel and normally she RUNS out but she has officially been in there for an hour just laying there.....POOR LIL STELLA WELLA! Good news is I'm fixing Gumbo for dinner--usually that has her at my feet the whole time I'm making it anxiously waiting for the slightest crumb to fall to the ground. If she doesn't get up for that well then we have a big problem on our hands because that dog NEVER turns down a chance to eat some human food!
REVENGE!

Ever since I've been back from Kansas, Boston just isn't the same. He finally got to the point where I could just lay him down and he'd pass RIGHT out and then I'd have to go in and wake him up from his nap in order to feed him on schedule. IT WAS WONDERFUL! Well, all has changed. As soon as I got home alone with Boston again he started crying...and crying....AND CRYING! I felt like it was starting all over again and it was like revenge on Mom time or something. He wasn't even eating his full 6 oz that he so anxiously used to want me to feed him. Well...I was getting SOOO frustrated with him because seriously 5 weeks of crying is NOT fun but I finally realized that it's MY fault. I have been switching his formula around (via doctor's request)---back to Infamil which gave him BAD gas/bubbles and now back to Good Start. I think that's where the whole problem lies. Now that he's been on Good Start for a few days today he's back to his normal routine! I just had to be patient and let his little tummy get used to it I think. I'm so impatient! He's still not eating a full 6 oz so I dropped it down to 5 oz and he BARELY finishes that off. I was tired of wasting 1 oz or so of formula...I mean COMMON that stuff is like GOLD! Sometimes I swear he knows he's wasting it because when there's like 2 ounces left he'll start rejecting the bottle and start smiling...this isn't a joke son!
Okay I HAD to post this picture of Boston from Sunday. He was smiling and I was trying to catch a shot of it but while my flash started going off he started to fall over....so this is Boston in action smiling and concentrating on trying NOT to fall! HA!! Gotta love this little guy! He looks SOOO chubby here!
My Late Night Visitor

Last night to my surprise Kent came home early! I was SOO happy because I had been so stressed because I don't think Boston was feeling too well yesterday so he was crying a good chunk of the day. If any of you have ever experienced a baby crying all day well then you know how stressful it can be! We ate dinner (yes, I did cook!) and then shortly after Kent left to go play basketball like he does every Tuesday night up at the church. I got Boston in the bath, layed him down (to my suprise he fell right asleep), cleaned up dinner, got ready for bed, turned off the lights, lit candles and sat and relaxed watching "Tori and Dean Inn Love" (I was BORED okay?....but I actually do kinda like it). At around 9:45 there was this loud pounding on my door! It really startled me and I couldn't think for the life of me who would be there. I thought maybe it was one of the sales guys but thought that they know that Kent plays ball on Tuesday. So I looked through the peep hole and there is this big black man staring back at me through the peep hole! My heart sunk in horror as I heard him say "Lady open up!" I kept my eye in the peep hole thinking that maybe he would notice if I walked away then he would know FOR SURE someone looked out. I carefully locked the top bolt on the door hoping he wouldn't hear. I got the courage to go let Stella back in from the porch when I saw him walk away then I doubled bolted those doors as well. I thought maybe he went away then all the sudden I heard ANOTHER bang at the door telling me to open up! Now I was totally freaked out! I hurried and called Kent praying he would answer (normally he is so into bball he either A-never brings in his phone or B-never picks up). To my suprise and gratitude he answered on the 3rd ring. I told him to hurry home because I don't know who it is or what he wants. He left instantly and I made him stay on the phone with my the whole time. All the sudden I heard another pounding---he was back again. Stella started freaking out as she always does and I thought that since most black people hate dogs it would scare him away....WRONG! I ran into our bedroom and sat next to the crib ready to give my life to save Boston, when all the sudden I hear "It's Fed-X." Well WHATEVER I'm home alone, it's almost 10 o'clock at night and I'm NOT about to answer the door to some supposed Fed-X man! I AIN'T STUPID! Kent was home in serious record time of about 4 minutes. He came home and sure enough there was a Fed-X truck outside and the guy was getting in his truck. Kent asked him if he was out our apartment and he said yes "912" and that he knew someone was home but wouldn't answer---Kent said he was a little frustrated so he explained that I was home alone and just had a new baby and it's late so I didn't answer. The guy didn't seem too understanding still but WHATEVER HELLO IT'S FREAKING TEN AT NIGHT SINCE WHEN DO THEY DELIVER THAT LATE?! Kent said I did the right thing and I think I did too! Although the man freaked me out, I was very excited about the delivery----my long awaiting crib and changing table!!!! I made Kent put them together of course last night when he got home from ball (he went back after realizing all was in the clear). By the time he got done with the changing table it was 1:15am so we decided to wait til morning to put together the crib. Here are pics of the semi finished product:
That's the valance against the crib so you get the idea of what it KINDA will look like with the colors.
I finally decided and ordered them last week (fast delivery huh?). I chose black since that's what looks best with my bedding choice. I told Kent that when I get a girl I'm getting a new crib because black isn't what I want with her bedding. He was a little frustrated thinking about having to buy TWO cribs but I assured him that we may have all boys....we'll see, that was just to calm him down! But I'm assuming that he is semi okay with the idea because he let me buy the black crib--probably because I was stressing so much about the whole thing and he just was done hearing about it.
I went to buy my bedding and they didn't have it all at PBK at the time. I went yesterday to get it but Kent told me to wait until we got paid again so I could only spend $80. I bought the valance and a few more things for his bathroom (including the waste basket to match and Kent was a little upset about that too but HELLO I have to have a matching bathroom!) The bathroom isn't complete YET but when it is I'll post pics. Hopefully I'll get my bedding next week. I've got some pictures to hang so maybe I'll do that today. I still need to buy my rocker (which I think we're going to San Antonio to the PBK outlet to find), some shelves, another valance, curtain rod, and mattress. I am really excited though that it's all FINALLY started to come together!
I promise this is the last post that I'm going to do today! I just feel like I'm so behind since I haven't done this in a week! I just wanted to put up pictures of Boston in the outfits that he's FINALLY fitting in! I've had a few outfits that I've been waiting and waiting for him to fit in. I now know that he is getting HUGE so fast because 2 weeks ago I tried them on and they didn't fit at all! Now they fit him perfectly! Who knows how long he'll fit in these but hopefully it'll last a little bit longer...but unfortunately his pants from Sunday are a little tight around his belly! Let's hope he'll be able to wear them a few more times or else Kent may not be very happy....
Boston's Sunday outfit that I think he may only be able to wear once more
His cute little Gymboree outfit thanks to Mimi!
WE DID IT!

Sunday was a rough day for Boston. I had switched him back over to Infamil via reccommendation of my doctor, and I don't think he sat too well with Boston. Every time I tried to feed him he would scream because of bubbles in his tummy and it would take him like an hour to eat! I felt soooo bad! So I'm half way through a can of Infamil and it doesn't look like I'll be able to finish it! BUMMER! I think I'll go get Good Smart because that seems to do okay for him. Let's hope! I feel so bad!

On a better note, I have some good news....BOSTON SLEPT FROM NINE TIL SEVEN THIS MORNING! I was AMAZED! Since he had such a rough day of eating, I decided to just let him sleep instead of waking him up at 10:3o to eat. I woke up at around 6 this morning and after looking at the clock and reached over to feel his tummy to make sure he was still breathing! I was so amazed! Hopefully this wasn't a fluke thing and he will contine tonight and more nights to come! He has been doing SO much better about going down for naps. It's almost to the point to where he only wants to sleep in his bed! I'm so happy that he will just let me lay him down and he'll fall asleep! It really feels like everything I've done to get him here has payed off! I'm so proud of my little man!
I took his picture a few weeks ago when we were trying to wake him up for his 10:30 feeding. It took us awhile to wake him up and the whole time he kept frowning because I think he just wanted us to leave him alone so he could sleep!
SPLISH SPLASH I WAS TAKING A BATH!
Boston LOVES his baths! When I was in Kansas, I started just putting a few inches of water in and then I'd lay him down on a washcloth and he LOVED being fully in the water. He would kick his legs and arms and want to play in the water forever! One time he was crying right before I put him in then as soon as I set him down in the water he immediately stopped and then started smiling! This is seriously my favorite part of the day!

Boston's last bath in his chair
The way he likes it best! I had to post this picture of his face...I swear it's SO hard to get a good picture because of the faces he makes when the flash goes off!
Again another funny picture of him after the flash went off!
We're not in Kansas anymore....

I haven't posted in like a week...so sorry for that. BUT it's because I've been in Kansas City, KS! A little over a week ago, I got an idea to drive up to see/surprise Kristin for her birthday last Monday. I tried to talk Kent into going for a few days but he said he needed to work so I took the trip ALL by myself! I was actually kinda proud that I made it there and back all 16 hours! Boston was really good, he pretty much just slept the whole time and I'd stop every 3 hours or so to feed him. This boy is getting used to long road trips!

I completely surprised Kristin by showing up at her house last Sunday. She was so surprised because at first I don't even think by her facial express that she recognized who we were! But she was VERY happy to see us and we even made her cry---YES! It was a REALLY fun week filled with shopping, eating out, games, eating out, more shopping, more eating out, finishing up the final touches of Boston's pics/birth announcements and MORE eating out! Some body PLEASE stop us! As Monica from "Friends" says, "I'M OUTTA CONTROL!"---which by the way we we did watch Friends episodes 3 nights in a row! This is why our husbands are probably happy we don't live close to each other any more..that way they can save money now! Kristin and Chad were soo kind to give up there bed and let us borrow their room for the week. It was nice being there since Kristin is sick from being prego and so I helped clean and play/spoil the girls. I really did enjoy my stay and I SOO wished that they were still living 5 minutes up the road! Now they might be moving even FURTHER away soon enough! So sad--but I'll be excited for them at the same time! Here are a few pics from the trip... I don't have many because my camera died so enjoy the ones I got!

Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday to You!
Boston smiling with Rylee's "Bunny Hop" that she shared with him! She was TOO cute with him while I was there. At first she was a little nervous to come close but when she got warmed up she was such a big help! I would ask her to watch him when I was going in the other room and she would and then she told Kristin, "Mom will you watch him when I go in the room for a minute...and if he starts crying just put his bikini in his mouth!" Then while he was laying on the boppy she would say to him, "Boston...do you want your counsin to play with you?!" I LOVED IT! She was SOOO cute! Thanks for your help Rylee..your Boston's fav--he ALWAYS would smile at her...ALWAYS!!

TUMMY TIME!

Everyday Boston has about 10 minutes of "Tummy Time." He absolutely LOVES being on his tummy. I swear that if he could lay on his stomach when I put him in his crib he would fall RIGHT to sleep without ANY problems and probably sleep for hours! It's his favorite! When he was little (well he's still little but back when he was little LITTLE) and wouldn't sleep in his crib, the only way he would sleep would be on mine or Kent's chest....yeah we didn't get much sleep in those early days! So now that he's sleeping in his bed, thanks to BabyWise, he normally just gets his "Tummy Time" each day to enjoy his belly! It's so hilarious because I put him down on his mat and then after a few minutes of being on his stomach he's PAST OUT! If he keeps doing that then I don't know if he'll ever learn to crawl!
