My son

Max says the funniest things and this week was no exception. My Aunt Kellie lives in Payette but just started a new job in Eagle so she will be staying with us for a while and this was the first week. She gets up around 6 AM and gets ready for work. Max usually gets up and goes to the bathroom around that same time. I would say that 90% of the time he comes into our bathroom and then climbs into bed with us for a bit. Well, nice and early Tuesday morning he runs into our room for the usual BUT he must have heard the blow dryer because half way to our bathroom he turns around and runs to his. All that Scott and I heard was his feet, the squeak of the door and OOHHHH! Then Max was back in a flash to our room. He didn't say anything then but at breakfast we had to ask. So Scott says "Max, was Aunt Kellie decent?" All that Max was able to get out as he dropped his head into his hands was "I don't want to talk about it."
How cute is that! It may be one of those things you had to see but we thought it was hilarious. That's our new punch line around the house, I don't want to talk about it.... I talked to Kellie about it later that night and she said that no she was not decent and he got the backside view. If you know Kellie at all you can just imagine how we laughed and laughed about this one. Oh the fun times we have!!

We're having a.....

GIRL!!!!

Yesterday was the day, our ultrasound. Everything looks great and it's a girl. I have to say I was a little surprised but we're so excited. We took Max with us so he could see for himself whether we had a brother or a sister. If you remember he was set on the baby being a brother and had his name picked out and was against a sister completely. He even told someone he would send her back if he got a sister. We were a little nervous about how he would react but he was so cute! When we got to that part and the ultrasound tech said it's a girl, Max said "I was just teasing, I really wanted a sister!" How cute is that! He didn't even miss a beat! I think that he will be a great big brother. He can't wait to teach her how to shoot and play baseball. What a kid! And apparently, no girly girls allowed here. If anyone has name ideas, we're open for suggestions!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree....

We usually head to the hills and search for that perfect tree but with the price of gas and the ever decreasing bladder space, we went down the street a mile and found it in 5 minutes. We had just as much fun as we would have in the hills but the trip was much shorter. It was great to go straight home and be decorating in 10 minutes. We found a beautiful, big tree and it was just $25. Fun times! Max was so excited and loved it. Here are some pictures. Our tree looks a little bare but we love it. Merry Christmas! We did family pictures in October and I am finally getting around to posting them. Yeah, I'm a bit slow but here they are.

Bow Chika Wow Wow...

Boy can he shake those hips.... He gets that from his Dad. He saw this on the preview for the "Chipmunks" movie and thought it was so hilarious. This is his favorite thing to do now and is now a 'running' joke in our family. The things we do for fun. Hope you enjoy.
