Forts

Liam really enjoys forts and when we make them he requires that everyone join him in the fort. Also, I must say thank you pinterest for the brilliant idea of using a fitted sheet for fort making. Makes it so much easier to assemble.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch and Liam had so much fun! Sadly our camera's batteries died before we were done but here's what we did get. Liam loved the hay maze, hay pyramid, the cow train made him oh so happy (he rode all by himself and we didn't realize how long it was and that he'd be out of eyes view for three to 5 minutes.), the hayride out to the pumpkin patch, and the barn animals.

Sharing

The other day Michael and I told Liam that it was time to take his nap. So he grabbed his blankets and stuffed animals and handed one each to his dad so they could take their naps on the floor. Now, picture snoring sound effects from both.

Liam's new obsession

Liam LOVES Buzz Lightyear right now. I think we're going to try and get him one for Christmas but I refuse to pay $42 for a 12 inch toy. I'm sorry but it just seems pricey to me.

Zoo Train

We went to the zoo with our dearest friends and Liam and Tyson rode the train with Tyson's mom, Kara, while I walked around with the little guy. They had oh so much fun on the train as usual and I was glad to not have to go on the 40 minute drive like I always do.

Hugs

We were at Costco and they had this giant bear for $30. So tempting because it was such a great deal and so soft but we settled with hugs just in the store.

When he sees an opportunity...

Liam and I spent the week at Grandma and Grandpa Allen's house and had so much fun. I helped my mom and Janet with wedding stuff and Liam spent his day wanting to know when grandpa would be home so he could follow him around. I should have taken more then just this one picture but sadly I didn't. Liam was able to help Grandpa mow the lawn, fly his model helicopter and airplane, go pick apples twice, follow him around the garden, and walk over to Grandpa's office to get a treat most days. Here is the picture I did take.

What is this a picture of you ask? Well, one morning Liam was sitting at the counter coloring and my mom, Janet and I all went into the office to look at something on the computer. We were gone for a few minutes and when I came out Liam greeted me sitting in the middle of the counter saying, "Yummy cake." After we had walked into the office Liam saw a wonderful opportunity in front of him and of course took advantage of it because there sitting on the counter he found a bowl, a cake half gone nicely covered, and a pizza cutter that was still out from cutting up his french toast from breakfast. So, what little boy wouldn't crawl up on the counter and slice himself a piece of cake and put it in a bowl to eat it. Once again I'm just so glad that he's so capable and smart.

Sleepover

We had Tyson and his little brother over for the night since it was their parent's anniversary. The boys spent the following morning pretending to sleep with stuff animals and blankies on the stairs. If only they were always this cute and happy with eachother.

This Fridge

Alright so I really like our new place and have no complaints except for maybe this fridge.  Why?  Because it allows amazing access to all shelves in my refrigerator to people that are 3 feet or less.  He has walked over to me with an egg in his hand, I have caught him eating things out of bowls by the handful and the other day I came down to him being so proud to show me that he had unwrapped an entire package of butter and placed them all in the center of the floor. 
I know, I know you're all thinking buy a fridge lock.  I did and it was wonderful for about a week and then he figured out how to open it.  Grrr.....

Ready for church

We put Liam's shirt and pants on and then when it was time to go he thought he should be able to wear this hat and shoes.
