Pleasant surprise

I was laying on the floor in the boys room watching Bryson crawl around and play. I was just about to get up and I hear,  “Mom, stay there I want to massage your back!” That was music to my ears and gladly stayed to enjoy a 5 second massage. Well 5 seconds is better than no seconds! 

Tooth fairy returns

So Jordan has always been a tough kid. Built strong and solid maybe to endure the older siblings rough housing haha. He surprised me my coming and shouting “LOOK MOM!” Flashing a bloody smile and holding a bloody tooth in his open hand haha! 

So being his first tooth and the fact that we were at home he wanted to take it to school to show his teacher and friends. So the following night is when he expected to have the tooth fairy come. However the tooth fairy didn’t sleep well due to a little toothless one, and forgot to do her tooth fairy duties. Jordan usually comes into my room when he wakes to come cuddle with me before we both start our day. While we were cuddling he realaized that he hadn’t checked to see if the tooth fairy came yet, and that’s when I realized and remembered too!! Oh no! So I slyly told him I needed his help to hold Bryson while I went to the bathroom. Then I promptly went and looked to see if daddy had a dollar in his wallet which he didn’t, so I went to find that Renee was up on the couch and asked her if I could borrow a dollar and if she could quickly go be the tooth fairy and put it under Jordan’s pillow. She agreed and got right on her special mission but came to me only to report that she didn’t have any dollar bills. Oh man, what now? I know, Jordan has his money jar in my room on a shelf, so “I borrowed” a dollar from him to pull off the surprise and not let the magic die.... it all worked out and he was pleasantly surprised to find a dollar and promptly showed me then put it (back) into his money jar hahah! I texted daddy and told him we owe Jordan a dollar LOL! 

Then the next day he came home from School having lost another tooth! I was on it this time and took care of the “duties” before I went to bed 👍🏻👏🏻

Jordan's prayers

This sweet boy sure is growing up fast. Already writing his name! He is a fun loving boy who loves his big brother, copies him all the time, enjoys playing with his sisters when they welcome him and allow it, and of course adores his buddy the dog. He is into building Lego's, playing with trucks and light sabers, playing basketball, sledding, playing in the snow, jumping on the trampoline and anything elctronic! 

He says the cutest prayers...almost every single time he says...Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day, thank you for Jesus, Jesus loves everyone of us, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. 😊

Jordan the super hero

I was telling a story about Jesus  on the cross to Jordan and had a picture of it in front of him, and he interrupted me saying I would beat the bad guys and cut down that and take the pookie things out and help the 2 other guys. I said oh ya, why would you do that? He said "because I love Jesus." 

And that's my super hero...

Music time has been a favorite time for all of my kids. And I have to say it's a favorite time of mine too. It's a special time we get to share an have fun together. And there are so many Kodak moments! Haha

These two love each other and follow each other around all day,

 probably Wrigley is hoping Jordan will drop food for him...

which often he does! On purpose because he loves to watch him eat!

It's a give and take relationship, he gives him snacks and he takes a lot of toddler abuse/love well!

Jordan

Jordan is growing so fast but is still my "baby." He is so adorable, he is such a calm and happy boy. He rarely throws tantrums, although he is capable and knows how to for sure! haha
His latest cute words he says is, Mom! Watch! or Mom Wook! and then he will do something cute, or jump and fall.
He will howl like Duke with his lips puckered out when we ask what Duke says.
He says "Pizzah" and "bekpack" for Jacket for some reason.
He also can say his friends name "Ina" and "emma"(for emma, emmelyne, and ada) and "quarter" for porter

Blessed

BLESSED this sweet angel boy on Sunday July 17th. He was completely peaceful during the blessing and has been such a joyful addition to our family.

BLESSED to call this my family. My cup is full and hands are too! ;-)

BLESSED to have this man as the father of my children. BLESSED with the priesthood that he has and blessings that come from that sacred power. BLESSED to of celebrated our wedding anniversary this weekend as well. It made the weekend super special.

BLESSED to of had family members come to share this special day with us. I wasn't good about taking pictures that day. All who came were Grandma and Grandpa Blunier, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa John, and Grandma Jane. It was a great family get together.

Jordan, you are truly a gift from heaven! We love you!

Hello Baby Brother

Time flies when you are having fun....and getting no sleep!!

We are all LOVING this little angel boy.

Of course he does this a little too, but we still love him.

I can't believe how time has flown, seems just like yesterday that I was still pregnant and wondering and waiting for our new addition to arrive. It has been 3 weeks now since his arrival and boy how life has flown by since then. We have of course been busy and with the days and nights being mixed up, it's easy to not realize what day it even is.

The first week, my mom was here, and how GRATEFUL I am that she was! She was such a great help, cooking, cleaning, helping with kids taking them to the park and pool etc, and holding Jordan so I could take a nap.

Jordan was an absolute angel in the hospital, hardly cried at all, ate well and slept great. Then we brought him home and most of that changed! Of course haha. He had trouble eating once my milk came in, which made him cry more and not sleep as well. Once we figured that all out, he has improved greatly. Oh and the reflux meds may also have something to do with the improvement too.

They all love to have one last cuddle with baby brother before saying good night. They all LOVE to hold baby brother and give him a little too much love sometimes!

This year mothers day was quite special having a new baby in the house.

This was my present from mom and the kids, a yummy breakfast in bed.

Having Jordan here makes me grateful for the wonderful blessing of being a mother, and also realize how much work it is all over again! My mom and I teased, that all you REALLY want on mothers day is..... a day without your kids! haha

Mom had to leave despite all my begging and pleading to stay! So Week 2 Joe stayed home with me, and how GRATEFUL I am that he did. He was wonderful as well. He is a great help with the kids, bathing them and doing bedtime, laundry, dishes and holding Jordan staying up late so I could get a head start on my sleep. It was also nice to have his company and not be alone just yet.

Week 3, Joe had to go back to work, so now I was on my own, but the church members really stepped up to help out with bringing meals and offering to take the girls for a play date, since they are done with school already. (Which was probably the biggest help of all!) The twins are my greatest amount of work still, I'm am SOOOOO Grateful that Jordan came to us all by himself!! haha Hopefully they will mature with the new baby here, although we have been having some "adjustment" behavior. All the kids came into our room several times a night that first week.

Grandma helped out by taking the girls down to sleep with her in her room and offering Ryan a dollar to go buy candy at the gas station if he could stay in his bed all night. (Which ended up working a few days later!) The girls spent a week or 2 fighting like never before, and Kaylee has begun pooping in her pants again. All attention seeking behavior I believe. So we are trying to spend some one on one time with each of them, but can be quite tricky. Especially when you want to do something fun with them, but they just don't deserve it.

Over all I feel like we are finally getting the hang of life with a new one. We are getting more sleep and learning how to juggle now 4 kids making us a party of 6, or 2+2+2. Need a new title for our blog...any thoughts?
