Happy Holiday, Surprise Birthday Party.

So this post was meant to be up last monday, but I got a little behind. So here's a week old update, not much new has happened since.

Well we started this new year out sick :( Erik got an ear infection last week-he's doing MUCH better but still on the anti-biotic(today's the last day, hurray!). I've had something mild this past week that's zapped my energy, but I'm feeling better. But on a postive note....

....HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILI!!!!
On MLK Jr. Day we went to a Surprise B-day party for my niece, Lili. She was in shock. Erik had lots of fun playing at the 'Rocket' play place, thank you Carl's Jr. It was so fun to see my niece so excited about her presents, she would kick her feet and squeel about every gift, it was awesome! We also had fun being with our family.

And I liked seeing Erik in a cage :)

Despite the lack in energy, I'm totally in nesting mode lately. I've taken different junked areas in our house and organized them. It's the kind of cleaning that isn't so noticable, but totally rewarding. I wouldn't be surprised if next week I start cleaning walls and windows, I'm just a cleaning freak lately! Baby girl is doing great. Loves to kick me and when Pawly and I lay down to sleep at night she's kicked him in the bum a few times :) She and Erik keep us laughing and loving being a family!

A Sunbeam!

Erik is a Sunbeam now in Primary!!!

He loves Primary and did great on his first whole day as a Sunbeam. He was asked to give a talk this past Sunday and despite not having the best rehearsals at home, he did an AWESOME job giving his talk on Sunday. We are so proud of how big and grown up he is! I wish I could have taken a picture of how reverent he was sitting up front in the Primary room with his scriptures on his lap and his arms folded, singing along to "I am a Child of God" it was so precious. I had to giggle to keep from tearing up. Paul asked him after he sat down in Primary who he wanted to help with his talk, mommy or daddy, and Erik said he'd just do it by himself. Well he did accept my help and did a great job repeating the talk and holding up his visuals! Go Erik! Hopefully the next weeks will be just as good :)
