Brief Update

I wanted to post some different, more recent, pictures today but our computer is not reading our memory card for some reason, grrr. So here's what I do have:

We went camping with my sister and her family last weekend. It was fun to camp with another family. Erik loved playing with his cousin and we loved having adult company.

What I loved about this site was the trees, we loved the shade of the forest here.

The roaring fire. We roasted some hot dogs and toasted, to perfection I might add, some yummy marshmallows! We've created a new spin on smores, we let the chocolate bar melt then squeeze the chocolate onto the graham cracker. It's perfect! The chocolate is nice and soft, no huge chunk of cold chocolate in the middle of your smore. Delicious!
Jillian is starting to sit up, not solo yet, she's still gaining her balance. But she does pretty good in the corner of the couch. Erik's new thing is, "Take a picture of this mommy" He says this when he does something "cute" with Jillian. Since we've gotten the camera out more for Jillian lately I think he wants more time in the spotlight :)


Speaking of spotlight, Paul got Employee of the Month this month!

Oh yeah! That's my Husband!!

He got a certificate and this AWESOME basket of goodies!

Go Paul for rocking at work! I'm so proud of him for being recognized for all the hard work he puts into his job, he's wonderful!

We even got Jillian in the basket!

A sweet friend of mine GAVE us this great bumbo chair for Jillian, for FREE! Can't believe it! I was so willing to pay her, but she said no. And on a great deal like that I don't insist ;)

Jillian just recently has started this new thing. She wants to put herself to sleep. She rolls to her side, sucks her thumb and konks out. We LOVE IT!

We were cleaning up after camping and I found her on the floor asleep like this. So cute!

Reunion, has it really been 10 years?!

Paul's High School Reunion was this past weekend so we made a trip down south to see the gang of friends. But before we left town we had to spend some time with MY friend Dana who was up from AZ! She was nice enough to invite us to this awesome swimming pool! After Erik and Shaelyn played a few times they warmed back up to each other. They started copying each other, laughing at each other and even sharing a float toy.

Now that's love.

Well maybe not, but it's pretty cute.

The next day we went to a lake in UT to boat and play with all Paul's high school buddies and their families. It was great to see everyone again and especially see how each family had grown, well I'm just saying there are more kids amidst this group now, and it's fun!

Jillian had the BEST time :)

Her swim suit didn't even get wet cuz she was too busy napping.

Erik's so good at making new friends! This is Ben's girl, Abby. They may look a little squished in this picture, but just a while later, Erik had his arm around Abby, they were quite cozy.

Later that night we had dinner with the friends, sans kids, well WE all played like kids but left our children at home. It was fun to see everyone, wish we all lived in the same state at least :)
