We are taking a massive road trip. From Wilmette to Mt Vernon, to Memphis (Graceland) to Jackson for a night, then to New Orleans for 3 days (that's how far we've gotten) Sunday we head toward Williamsburg to see Dusty, Heather, and Esme, then to Gainsville to the VA Smiths and DC. So far the weather has been worth the drive, 70's everyday for the first leg at least!!!

Parker in the Hotel:
We'd just woke up and we were talking. He swung his leg over my stomach and I said ouch.
He said: oh, sorry I hurt your uterus. (he's learning about reproduction in school)
Holden comments:
Take it easy, take it easy (when everyone was arguing once)
We cuddled this morning and he said we'll cuddle for a little bit, then 3 minutes later he said okay mom a little bit is done. ( I know it's hard to believe Holden would ever be done cuddling.)
Thursday night swimming the water was a little cold. I told the kids I'd give them a dollar if they just jumped in and I videotaped it. Bailey jumped and then it was HOldens turn. He was afraid so he jumped towards the stairs and mom caught herself swearing on tape. I totally thought he cracked his head open on the stairs and the hand rail. Sorry mom!
Whatever we forget Bailey will remember. She's writing a book about our adventure. She's a good little writer.
