Randoms:

• this week/month has been so busy....and I only have one kid in school, and she's not in any extra curricular things either. I fear for my life in 10 years!
• Kamryn busted her head open a month ago and had to go to the er. In the end they just super glued it. Can't wait to see how much they charge for super glue ;(. But, she was very brave at least. The doctor said he was her best patient of the day.
• Wes is gone all the time for his calling lately....oh summertime when your husband is in Scouting. They are planning a big backpack hike later in the summer, so to prepare they are doing 3 mini overnight backpacking trips. 1 down, 2 more to go.
• My little brother Ike got.home this week! We're so excited to see him.
• I'm on jury duty call for May and June. This means having 3 dates to show up for and then calling in every week to see if anything new was added. The first day I was scheduled was pretty crazy...it was a double murder case, Wes had the kids at work by himself, and Hallie got sick at school and had to be picked up (mind you I still have a nursing baby too!). Thankfully I wasn't picked to be on the jury, but I still was there from 8-6:30!
• My sister had a baby earlier this month and I really want to see him!
• Skyler and his wife just announced that they are pregnant. I'm so excited for them!
• The kids have been having slumber parties every Friday night. They take turns with which room they stay in. Last Friday ended in disaster though when Jaxson purposely stepped on Hallie. When I asked him if it was on purpose, he asked "does on purpose mean my in trouble?".

Hallie rides a Bike

I've been trying to help Hallie learn to ride her bike for weeks. She was capable of it but scared. I would get her started and then let go and she would just stop peddling. Over and over again. I finally told her to take a break and let me know when she wanted to try again.

 So last Saturday she said she was ready and she was! She let go of her fears and kept peddling, the very first time she tried! Then we worked on getting started by herself and turning. I love seeing how proud she is of herself, for conquering her fear.

Hallie's Field Trip

Jaxson and I tagged along on Hallie's field trip last week. The school is just up the hill from a park, so we walked down and played a bunch of games and had sack lunches.

Jaxson was in heaven. They let him play all the games with the kids, even though he didn't understand some of the games. He keeps asking me when he turns 5 so that he can go to Kindergarten.

Addison @ 10 months

• She cut her first tooth, the bottom right tooth. A couple of days ago her other bottom tooth popped up. I've never nurse a baby with teeth (my kids get their teeth close to a year), and OUCH. That's all.

• Addi got weighed at about 9.5 months and only weighed 12 lbs. 12oz., so she is kind of on an all you can eat diet. She has a great appetite and I'm now changing stinky diapers a few times a day because she is eating so much food.

Addison seriously loves Jaxson, and I love seeing him be so sweet to her and making her laugh all the time

• I've been trying to give her some physical therapy to strengthen her legs. No, I don't know what I am doing, but I try to help her stand and play every day so she gets sued to putting weight on her legs.

This only lasted a couple of seconds before she fell

•   Addi can now go from laying down to a sitting position. I keep finding her sitting up in her crib after naps. It's so cute.

She was happy when I opened the door, but then I ran to get my camera and she didn't like that

• She is making more of an effort to crawl, although she can't crawl on her hands and knees yet.

•  Addi has started using a sippy cup. I finally found one that she figured out, and now she can even hold it herself!

•  She has been happier this month! I think it has to do with eating all the time. She seriously spends hours in her high chair everyday now.

First Of Many

 Hallie finally lost her tooth! It was wiggly for months and it finally came out Sunday, the 6th. She was so proud of herself.

 

 She was very excited to get some money from the tooth fairy, but decided she wanted to keep her tooth (surprise, surprise!).


It's now been a couple of weeks, and that tooth that was behind has come almost come up all the way!
