Give Your Buggy a Bath

The Throckmorton kids were challenged to find ways that they could earn their own money to pay for Boy Scout Camp, Girls Camp and Cub Scout Camp. One way that they wanted to try was to have a CAR WASH. They have scheduled SATURDAY, MAY 3RD from Noon to 3:00 as a time that you can bring by your vehicle to have it lovingly cleaned. This is where their years of experience will work for your benefit. They are asking $5.00 for a wash and $5.00 to vacuum. They will also be selling some beverages and goodies. Stop on by to give your Buggy a Bath for a good cause.

It's a BOY!

Camie & Jeff Holdmair had their baby on Monday April 14th-
also Jeff's birthday. They named him Jeff Scott Holdmair Jr.
He weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and is 19 inches long.
Mother & son are doing well... Congratulations!

Girls Game Night

Welcome back to Muff & Otto Hart. Our Arizona Snowbirds are back
in South Jordan. They are back a little early due to some needed
surgery for Muff. I'm sure they are not enjoying our spring weather
so far!

Congratulations to Jenny Downs on making the Bingham HS Minerettes. She will join Rebecca Anderson and Molly Anapol who will be performing their 2nd year with the team.

Attention "PINK SISTERS TEAM"

Dear "PINK SISTERS",

As team captain, I get an e-mail confirmation
on each RACE FOR THE CURE Participant who registers
on the PINK SISTERS team. As of Friday morning, we
have six team members registered! This is a great
start, but the team online registration deadline is
only two weeks away.  Let’s see how many teammates we
can get registered before church on Sunday.

The mail-in registration forms are still not available
at the website, so I would strongly encourage everyone
to register online. The participation fee is 5$ less for
online registration. If you need some help with the online
registration, let me know.

What's Happening in Our Ward...April 7th

I have no idea why I put off creating this blog for our ward..isn't technology wonderful! The reasoning behind the blog is to let everyone in the ward know what is going on.

For example...did you know that we have some "Drama" happening soon. Brittny Millington is the lead in "The Dragon Queen" being put on by the West Jordan Youth Theater group. She is joined by her sisters Amber & Rebecca. Other familiar faces are Nathan Reeve, Eleanor & Elizabeth Ruegner and Katie Hilton. Tickets are available at the Macey's in West Jordan. The performances are April 17-19 at 7pm and also a matinee on the19th at 2pm.

Congratulations are also in order for both Katie Hilton and Joshua Throckmorton who were in the State Geography Bee this past week. They were in the top 100 in the state, which translates to #1 at their school and the top 100 smartest in the state. The competition was this past Friday. They both did very well but didn't make it to Nationals...so test their knowledge at church on Sunday!
