Shooting, Sushi and Shenanigans

The kids were anxious to go out to the desert and shoot their new guns.  

No Oliver didn't get one but he used Alexis's and all 3 were supervised the whole time.

Alexis is an amazing shot!  She can hit anything!

 We then met up with James and Lisa and their kids and enjoyed LOTS of sushi!  It was delicious!

Some of Alexis's friends came over and colored...because that is what 14 year olds like to do!

And then played Life.

 One night while driving around looking at Christmas lights Steve had Alexis drive...well half drive.  She only steered...Steve did the pedals!

 It was an awkward way to drive though...

Christmas

 Christmas Eve the kids get to hug Nick before he heads back to the North Pole.

This year we left Santa Rolo/Ritz cookies...place a rolo on one cracker...microwave for 15 seconds...place another cracker on top and push down...SOOOO GOOD and sooo easy!

 Alexis had a movie night in her room for the boys so they would stay in her room while Steve and I got things done!

  Christmas morning...

 We do stockings first and then eat breakfast...I think the kids favorite part of Christmas is the stockings...or as Oliver calls it...his sock!

Oliver asked for 2 things for Christmas this year...skates and an eyeball.  We had no idea what he wanted but thankfully one of Santa's helpers found something...and he was happy about it!

Grandma and Grandpa got the boys a Marble Run...Oliver plays with it ALL THE TIME!

 Alexis was happy about her new gift...I am jealous because it is pink!  

(It is in the safe where only Steve and I have access to it and she just gets to use it when we go shooting.)

  Great relaxing day...we later went to Steve's brothers again and had a great time with them.

 It's possible that this is the UGLIEST Gingerbread House...Steve would put the icing wherever the boys instructed and they would just stick candy wherever!

 At boot-camp we had an ugly sweater workout...I borrowed one from a friend because I don't even own a sweater...and this one was pretty ugly!!!

And a 12 Days of Christmas workout...you had to do the workout like the song...it was super tough!!

 But I love this group of people...I've been with some of them over 2 years!  They make the work outs bearable!!!

Franc & Alison Visit

 Alison turned 40 so they came to Vegas for the weekend and stayed at the Mandalay Bay.  We met up with them and headed to the Cosmopolitan Hotel and went to Holsteins for dinner.  Soooo tasty!!!

 The Crystal mall was beautifully decorate for Christmas.  If you zoom in you can see a photo bomber!

 Yep..there he is...Franc.

 These two have been friends since they were 8 years old.

 

The Aria Hotel has this wall of water that is so pretty...

Always fun to see them!  And its never long enough!

BIG Haircut

 Its cute...its short....and it'll grow back.  Not that I don't like it but I really like the long look on him!
