This year I had the "Favorite Things" party at my house.

I love it...love the smell.  Hopefully the people who got it like it too.

I ended up getting these items...ALL great.  I use the spatula/scraper every day!  

This Renew lotion from Melaleuca is awesome too!!! 

And as always the food was great (didn't get a picture) but most of all

 the company was great!  Until next year....

Ice Skating

 For Family Home Evening I planned for us to head over to the new Summerlin Mall where they had ice skating...on real ice...not plastic.  We got there right when it opened so it was pretty empty.

 Eli struggled at first but started to get the hang of it.

Luckily for Oliver they had a double blade thing that you velcro 

onto shoes to make it easier for little ones...

 Alexis was a natural...she roller-bladed when she was 

younger so it came right back to her.

 

 

 Steve was our photographer and didn't want to get hurt while skating. 

I should have done the same thing because I did something to my ankle and for 2 weeks after I was in a lot of pain...It hurt to even touch it.  I think it was the boot...it wasn't very comfortable.  But the memories were worth it.

Thanksgiving 2014

 This year I hosted my 1st Thanksgiving!  My parents and my sister and her family all came!  I basically bought all the food...made a couple of things and left the rest up to my mom and step dad.  Beautiful turkey!

 After dinner the dogs (Tawny and my moms) just waited patiently for Jim to give any handouts.

 On Friday we went to Big Hero 6 (very good).

 And then to Flip n Out

 Friday, Leissa and I took some of the kids bowling.  I love this picture of TALL Jack and tiny Oliver.  He is 16 and measures 6'4''!

Just a few pictures documenting some little things we've been up to...nothing exciting!

 After way too long Alexis finally got her braces off. 

 I think it was about 4 years total between phase 1 and 2.

Alexis invited some friends over to have a movie night and bon fire.

 Then Steve turned 43 and Alexis made an awesome card for him...once again a Walking Dead reference...

 He's in a Frozen Snicker Ice Cream bar phase so I got him a snickers ice cream cake from Cold Stone..pretty tasty!

 We've gone twice Miniature Golfing at King Putt...pretty fun.

Halloween 2014

 Usually I have post after post about all the Halloween activities that we have but this year I barely took any pictures so I was able to condense everything into one post.

I took the boys to the "pumpkin patch." 

 Its over priced and kind of lame but whatever...they had fun!

 We went to Oliver's school Fall Festival.  Oliver decided that night to dress in last year's elephant costume.  I think the eye patch was a prize he got from one of the games.  Eli also dressed in last years costume.

 Then we went to our wards Trunk or Treat.  Alexis was Waldo, Eli was a Dementor and Oliver was the dark Spider-man.

 The next night was Eli's schools Fall Festival.  I didn't even get a picture of the boys dressed up because I was working the Festival from 2:30pm until 9pm.  Alexis and her friends did an awesome job working some of the food booths.

 Halloween Day we finally got around to carving pumpkins. 

 Eli's was a Lego scene...

 Steve (and Oliver's) was Chirp from Peep and the Big Wide World.

 Alexis's was self explanatory...her favorite show!

 We had the Walnum's and Naylors over for dinner and trick or treating...Oliver was a skeleton this night...thank goodness for a dress up box!  He was 4 different things this year!

Fall Ball

 Eli was on the Angels again and did awesome! 

 He played in the outfield most of the season but was able to catch in one of the last games.  He was pretty excited!

 And then there is this one....loves to ham it up for the camera.

One day I will figure out how to upload videos because we got a few great ones....including his home run.
