just noticed some incoming visitors coming from this link, where my store is on the featured page for one of the behind-the-scenes software we run.
PS- switching to cable internet soon and probably dropping the landline right along with my phone company's slow DSL. I've been doing a trial of operating only with cell phone calls, even at home with the weak signal, and it seems OK. that includes my incoming 800 number calls, so I'm almost ready to jump the SBC ship.

also, i have 2 ways everybody can help with the company if you want to.
1) if you have ever used any of the products, go to it and add a review. it doesn't matter where you bought it- you're reviewing the item, not the store.
2) i just got a big order of business card in. I'd love to share them if anybody wants to have some on hand to pass around. They don't have my name- they're just business cards with the logo, website, phone number, etc. If you live far away, I can easily mail them too you :)

We drove all afternoon. that evening at the hotel, the kids called grandma and grandpa. For $5 more, our room included breakfast for four the next morning before the park. Also they gave Em that mickey mouse doll you see in the driving home photo.
Em was very sure we should do this first, and she says it's her favorite. though she laughed harder driving the cars :)
The inspiration for the trip was E wondering aloud about what place has the spinning teacups.
Our only boat ride of the day. Jungle cruise and small world were closed. The kids really liked this one, they were very tired of walking by this time. Oh! the Nemo submarine trip was very good too.
This is E's first "I love mom and dad" note. He made it at church today because the lesson was about families. Actually, maybe it's his first anything note... we've pracitced lots with single letters, and we do tons of verbal spelling and fridge magnet spelling, but no note writing.

He eagerly told us what it said (I love mom and dad). Then he pointed out that his "dad" looks like "DPD" and explained that he had included a $ sign "so the store will have enough money"

Sometimes Em or I suggest a trip to the bakery in the morning after dropping E off at school. Last time, we also stepped nextdoor into a tiny urban grocery place. she was lured in for some pears in the window, and inside she also picked some carrots and radishes. She ate everything that day, and especially liked the "rabbishes" and their funny root strings.
