This is E's last day of kindergarten, isn't that unbelievable?
Also, his top front tooth fell out today. Of the 4 baby teeth that have come out so far, this is the 2nd to come out at school and the 3rd to fall out and were immediately lost, never to be seen again.

PS- she must have heard that at school. we say "girl parts" and "boy parts"
PPS- M starts preschool on monday!
So, my running update for May can be summarized as "holy cow, I don't think I ran even once in May!"
But it's June and I am back to it and looking for my next goal. I gave my race spot to a friend who was more ready for her big moment than I was.

Unrelated - E's class had a puppet show and family tea party this morning, it was very nice. He has a new friend at school so it was good to meet him and the parents. There is just one week of kindergarden left, then he goes to a summer full of day camp, and a simplified schedule of only two afternoon therapy appointments a week. Sadly, that is in part because one of his beloved home therapists is moving away next week, after a solid two years of working with him, usually at the rate of 2x a week in our home. So it's a big loss to all of us.... pfffffffffff.
Also we had an IEP meeting at school this week, which was a very mixed experience. There was a lot good about the school staff and their reports and recomendations, though some was hard to hear. We really like these people and it's clear how well they know E and care for him. But then we had to really standoff with the lone beurocrat who wanted to cut his program in the face of all evidence. So that was stressful but thankfully the law is clear that when there is an impasse at an IEP meeting, the last signed agreement stands so there is no actual threat of losing any services.
Lastly, little M gets to start preschool in just one more week! He's going to love it, and it's a big relief on us to stop piecing together a diferent babysitting schedule every day. He'll go the same days and times that Em is there.
