I got him an Xtracycle Radish :)
xtracycle.com - it's a very nice bike on its own merits, and it can carry a child or two and several bags of groceries as well. We've all been using it - this photo is from this morning, about to leave church.
I was extremely excited to give this present - It is probably the best fitting present I've ever thought of for somebody. Plus, it's a blast for the kids and I can ride it too.

Here are the kids on Monday - before heading to school I drove up the hill by our old house to the same spot that caught so much snow last year the one day any snow came down in berkeley.
So lately, the temps are in the 30s here, day and night. The main problem though is that our new house has a pretty weak heating situation. So pretty much, the bedrooms are OK with their electric heaters but by morning our indoor reality in all other rooms is a chilly 50 degrees.
