This post will probably be all over the place. Hang in there.
*We are 33 weeks preggers and will be 34 on Monday. All bets are on as to when Mary Phillips will make her debut. It makes me laugh when I get to this point of pregnancy because everyone tries to decide when she'll be born and none of us have any control or say-so. It's obviously up to the good Lord and MP. Let me just say this...I have a four year old with a busier social calendar than I ever thought about having. Therefore, if MP decides she wants to be born any time during weeks 37 and 38, we are up a creek. (Sidenote: Millie was born at 37 1/2 weeks) Actually, it's perfectly fine but that means I will have to miss some end of the year function for Mo which makes me sad. She has her school spring musical, class party day, ballet rehearsal and recital, etc. If we can get to 39 weeks I'm all good and MP can do her thing whenever. Taylor is also on trauma right now (busiest rotation ever) and will be until the end of May. Another reason why I'm more than okay with trying to get to our due date of May 27.
*What happens to the filter on people's mouths when they see a pregnant belly? Really, I want to know. It's like that can't help themselves and they must make some ridiculous comment about how large the belly is looking. THERE'S A SMALL HUMAN IN THE BELLY SO OF COURSE IT'S BIG! I don't get offended at these comments, I'm just in shock that people let them come of their mouths. Filter people. Filter.
*Millie has decided for now to call Mary Phillips "Mae Mae" basically because she can't pronounce Mary Phillips. It is hysterical to hear her attempt the full name. My poor ocd oldest child doesn't like this idea and wants everyone to call MP by her full real name. Bless her obsessive self. I tried to explain that one day Millie will be able to say it but for now we're going with what is easier. Morgan just shook her head at me and walked off. Mo, Mills, and Mae Mae...three sassy little munchkins.
*Where have Piko tops been all of my life?!? These things are fabulous. I bought one thinking I would wear it after MP's arrival. As it turns out, big pregnant bellies will fit in them as well. Amazing!
*We've moved Mills into a toddler bed. It broke my heart. I feel like it's incredibly too early to be doing this to her. However, she had started to attempt to climb out of her crib and let's not forget how she somehow managed to fall out of it at six months. Morgan didn't move into a big girl bed until she was two years and change. Mills is just 21 months. So far she has done incredibly well with the transition. She's a little runt anyway and it's so cute to see her in this munchkin bed with her big pillow. Night time is easy but naps are a different story. I'm not stressing over it. We'll get there.
