When it Rains it Pours
My head is spinning. Stuff is coming at me fast and furious. Still nauseous and feeling pretty crappy and I'm flying to the States tonight. I don't know how that happened, I booked the trip right before I got pregnant and then I've been too distracted with feeling like ass to realize that it was soon to be upon me. To say I'm nervous about flying for 12 hours straight while not feeling great is an understatement. My OB took pity on me and prescribed me an anti-nausea medication but I haven't tried it yet and I don't want to try it for the first time when I'm alone on an airplane. So, the medicine will come with me and I might try it while at my parent's house. Also, my absolutely wonderful travel agent switched all of my seats to aisle seats so now I can puke and pee as much as I need without disturbing my seatmates. I have to say that is a huge relief. I will feel much better once I get there.
I got a new job. I'm excited about moving on, just stressed about the transition process. It's hard trying to make two bosses happy. Wish me luck.
And lastly, E and I went to check out some plots of land in a Moshav expansion that is in progress in a nearby Moshav. There weren't a lot of plots left to choose from but we managed to find one that we love, and dude I think we're going to buy it. It's about ten minutes further from Jerusalem but it's within our budget, a really nice Moshav (kept nicely, lots of playgrounds, nice people), and hopefully the new people moving in as well sound like they are the type of community we are looking for. It's definitely a leap but when is buying a house not? I was so excited last night I couldn't even sleep (a real feat while pregnant).
That's the news kids. I'm a bit buzzy from all of the excitement. Hopefully I'll update Stateside.
