Pressure and Guilt

We are having a lot of pressure and guilt in our life right now. I won't bore you with details but the current pressure and guilt that has elicited this post is the guilt of not having had a new post for a couple of weeks. It's just sad because I don't have anything awesome about fun vacations like Tonya, or beautiful pictures of my children like Ralphie, or creative genius and cuteness like Ashley, or hilarious pictures and stories like Rachel. So, anyway here are some fun and funny things about our week:

Bolt. The movie is hilarious! If you have not seen it you MUST go directly to any source necessary to acquire and view it. It is fully awesome! We have watched it, ummm, more than once this week.

This one has to have an explanation. On Friday we were looking everywhere for the remote. I finally gave up and thought one of the kids (or Chad) had put it somewhere and it was lost forever. Hours later, I went to take out the garbage and just slipped Chad's shoes on really quick. And what to my surprise but there was the remote! That little stinker. I really wonder what she is thinking. She just kills me.

Another fun thing we did this week was going to see Monsters vs. Aliens with my Mom, David and Angie. The kids liked it but we still thought Bolt was better. We came back to our house for chicken enchiladas. It really was a fun evening.

So there is our week in a nutshell. Oh, and it's snowing again. I don't think winter is ever going to leave us. I washed the kids' summer clothes and have them out in their closet - waiting patiently. Truly, if this keeps it up I'm going to have to buy new winter clothes and boots in a bigger size for them. Global warming, yeah right.

It's Never A Good Thing...

when you have to use a shovel to clear off your car. This picture really is my car and this was actually the first of two times I had to shovel that much snow in one day. Luckily my very awesome brother, Tanner, came over to help me the second time because Chad was out of town. I guess winter is not gone yet. :( Oh well, we need the water and the nice thing is that most of that snow has already melted. Thank heavens it's not January!



Carter had fun playing in the snow but Kate just stood there and cried. Probably because the snow was up to her thighs and she couldn't move and kept saying, "Mommy, I stuck!"

Kate has also been sick this week with a high fever. We have had a pretty boring week just stuck in the house taking care of her. Poor thing was even subjected to a catheter because we thought she might have a bladder infection. She didn't so now we're just watching and waiting and hoping she gets better soon.

Husband Tag

I would like to dedicate this post to my delicious husband, Chad. He is too good for me and a lovely person to spend all of eternity with.

1-Where did you meet your husband? Well, I guess way back when at good ol' Logan High

2- How long did you date before getting married? First date to end was like 4 1/2 years but from the time we started really dating to engagement was 6 weeks with a 4 month engagement on top of that.

3-How long have we been married? Five LONG years. Just kidding. Five really great years.

4- What does he do that surprises you? Cleans the bathrooms, writes sweet notes, buys me treats, offers to rub my back - oh wait, he doesn't do that one but the rest he totally does.

5- What is your favorite feature of his? The freckles on his arms.

6- What is his best quality? His patience with me and his perseverance in school.

7-Does he have a nickname for you? Wend or cupcake

8- What is his favorite food? This week he says it's my chicken tacos. Usually it's pretty much anything decent though.

9- What is his favorite sport? Surfing the net

10- When did you first kiss? That is a memory I try to forget.

11- What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Well, if you ask Chad ...

12- Do you have any children? Two lovely little stinkers.

13- Does he have any hidden talents? He can pop his ears.

14- How old is he? Thirty whole years.

15- What is his favorite music? Pretty much anything, I think.

16- What do you admire about him? That he keeps working hard to make a good life for our family.

17- What's his favorite color? I had to ask him and he said, and I quote, "When I was a little boy it was purple. Now it's blue but it has to be the right color of blue." He also said, "You don't know my favorite color? It's like you don't know me at all."

18- Will he read this? Oh, totally.

19- Who said "I love you first"? First we talked about it and mutually agreed that we loved each other and that we should probably get married. I know, I know, we just ooze with romance.
