Title: [Android 1.4.5] Bluetooth Mouse Cursor Randomly Snaps to Center, Causing Camera to Spin in WoW
I'm experiencing a persistent mouse input issue with Steam Link Android version 1.4.5 while streaming World of Warcraft from my Windows gaming PC to my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

My setup:

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Steam Link Android version: 1.4.5

Input: Bluetooth mouse and keyboard connected directly to my phone

Host: Windows gaming PC connected via Ethernet

Game: World of Warcraft (WoW Forever)

Connection: T-Mobile LTE/5G cellular

Description of the issue:

While playing World of Warcraft through Steam Link, my mouse cursor will randomly snap to the center of the screen, directly above my character.

When this happens, the in-game camera suddenly rotates, often pointing straight down at my character's head. Sometimes my character also turns approximately 180 degrees.

This occurs randomly while moving the mouse or clicking, making the game difficult to play with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.

Troubleshooting I've already attempted:

Updated Steam Link Android to version 1.4.5.

Tested WoW's raw mouse input settings.

Adjusted Steam Link mouse/input settings.

Tested different WoW display settings.

Verified that the issue does not occur when playing directly on my Windows desktop without Steam Link.

None of these changes have resolved the issue.

Expected behavior:

The Bluetooth mouse should move normally without unexpected cursor repositioning or sudden camera rotation.

Actual behavior:

The cursor intermittently jumps to the center of the screen, causing abrupt camera movement or character rotation.

Additional information:

This appears potentially related to the handling of absolute versus relative mouse input in Steam Link Android. I've seen that recent Steam Link releases have included improvements to mouse handling, but the problem persists in version 1.4.5.

Could this be investigated as a possible regression or issue with relative mouse movement and cursor capture on Android?

I'm happy to provide additional information or test a beta version if needed.

Thank you!

So this is, if I remember correctly, a known issue that is being fixed. Something about old legacy code in android treating the clicks as trackball inputs.

Unfortunately seems the fix hasn't been put in yet since last time I looked this up.

Mouse snapping to center isn't the issue you're thinking of; the changes to fix the mouse clicks (e.g. so mouse left click isn't sent as Enter, right click isn't Escape, etc.) are in 1.4.5. This one I haven't seen before, so it'll take a little more info.

Does this happen *only* with World of Warcraft Forever, or is it in all games? If *not* in all games, do you know of any others in which it happens? (I don't really want to sign up for a WoW account just to debug this, I confess...)

And does it happen on older versions of the client, if you happen to know offhand? (Older ones can be downloaded to comparison-test with by following the instructions in the Patch Notes thread.)
