How to watch La Liga in Slovakia

Football fans in Slovakia can watch live La Liga games on Nova Sports channels (Nova Sport 1 to 6), specifically Nova Sport 4. This is made possible by a rights deal between CME Group, the parent company of Nova Sport, and Saran Media Group, the official rights holder for the Spanish Primera Division in the country.

Saran Media Group secured La Liga broadcast rights under a five-year deal covering the 2026-27 to 2030-31 seasons. This agreement extends the Turkish agency’s pre-existing Spanish top-flight rights deal for the 2021-22 to 2025-26 TV cycle, having entered the Primera División broadcast scene in the 2015-16 season.

While Saran broadcasts live sports through its own linear channels in select markets, mainly Turkey, it does not operate in Slovakia. Consequently, it chose to sell those rights to CME Group, the owner of Nova Sport.

Nova Sport’s La Liga coverage in Slovakia includes live games featuring Spanish heavyweights such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético Madrid. Additionally, the group of premium sports television channels provides extra Spanish Primera División content, including highlights and full match replays available on its linear channel and the Oneplay streaming service, owned by CME’s parent company, PPF Group.

To watch live La Liga matches on Nova Sport 4 and other Nova Sport channels, Slovakian viewers need a pay-TV satellite, cable, or streaming provider that distributes Nova Sport channels. This includes DIIGI Slovakia, Magio TV, and Skylink. However, accessibility may vary based on the provider, package, and region. Furthermore, subscribers to partnered Nova Sport carriers may also be able to stream the Primera División live via the platform’s own streaming service.

Viewers in Slovakia can also stream La Liga games live in HD on the Oneplay streaming app, owned by CME’s parent company, PPF Group, and the Voyo streaming app, which is owned by its sister company, Markiza. A subscription is needed for both services, with Nova Sport 4 paywalled behind Oneplay’s and Voyo’s higher-tier packages.

Once subscribed, viewers can stream Nova Sport’s La Liga coverage on most internet-connected devices, including smart TVs, computers, mobile phones, and tablets. DAZN operates the official LaLiga Channel worldwide through a two-season partnership covering 2025-26 and 2026-27. The channel is free to access globally and is available only on the DAZN platform.

Programming includes matchday highlights of every game, LaLiga-produced content, and additional non-live formats. The service is positioned alongside DAZN's existing football properties, which feature UEFA competitions, FIFA+ programming, Serie A, Bundesliga, and the J.League.

DAZN already holds live LaLiga rights in Spain and carries coverage in markets such as Portugal, Italy, Germany, Austria, Japan, and Belgium. The LaLiga Channel adds a global highlights package to those existing agreements.
