Blessing Day

We blessed our sweet Ryker on October 9th. The boys were so excited for Ryker to wear the same outfit they each wore and to get a special blessing from Daddy, just like they did. Jay did a fabulous job and it was great to have so many family members there to celebrate with us.

Missing Tooth

My sweet Caden boy lost his first tooth!! He was SO excited to be a part of the big kids club. It took quite a bit of convincing for him to let mom "play" with it, but he did good. He didn't even know I pulled the tooth out until he felt the hole with his tongue. But as soon as he tasted the blood, the tears started rolling. Once he finally calmed down he called Daddy to share the news and let me take a smiling picture!


But after talking about the tooth for a while the tears started rolling again, so here's the crying picture. Nothing an otter pop can't cure at 8:30 in the morning, but it worked.

And he was very excited the tooth fairy did deliver $2 that night. (it wasn't the $1000 he was hoping for, but it sure seemed like it with all the excitement!)

Finally a Soccer Mom!

Caden was SO excited this year to play soccer. He's been wanting to play forever (I think he's tired of just watching mom and dad play!) Thankfully we got him on the same team as his cousin and they have a blast together. I don't think any of the kids have played soccer before but they had a blast and that's what matters most!

And of course, playing Keeper (just like Daddy!) He did such a good job! Diving on the ball and everything!! I was so proud of him.

I'm totally bummed that I didn't get a picture of his goal. I was way too excited to grab my camera! I was the crazy mom running out on the field to give my kid a high five and tell him how proud of him I was. It was so fun to watch and I can't wait for the rest of his games.

Ryker Joshua

Jay and I have been waiting for what seemed like forever for this little miracle to join our family. After 2 long years, we finally got him and couldn't be more thrilled. Our sweet Ryker was born Sept 1, 2011 weighing 8 lbs 2 oz. He is so perfect and sweet. I just love him to pieces!!

The boys were thrilled to finally meet their brother. Caden was so excited to finally meet him that he was crying. After talking to him for a bit he said they were happy tears! Such a tender boy!

I think Keeg was more excited that he's not the baby anymore. He thinks he is SO big now that he isn't the youngest!

I couldn't be more thrilled to add another little man to our clan. I'm certainly outnumbered, but I wouldn't have it any other way. These boys are the best and I love them to pieces!

Kindergarten!!

I can't believe my little man started Kindergarten this year. Time has definitely gone by way too fast. I can't complain though, he was SO ready to start school and is loving every minute of it. At our school they have the Kindergartner's go one day early to get used to school. I'm so glad they do. I got to sit in his classroom and learn some of the rules with him before leaving him for a few hours. He had a blast and was so ready for the real thing come Monday morning.

Monday came and he was SO excited to go back. Until right before we left the house. Then the fear set in and the tears started. Poor boy - makes his mama sad. But he pulled it together and did great once we got to the school. He got to show off his room to Daddy and that helped keep him occupied.

Tried to get a picture of the two of them, but Keeg wasn't having it. I don't think he liked his brother having all the attention.

Of course, there's one with mom - even if she's 9 months prego! I just love that little man!

And of course one with his Daddy.. He adores his daddy so much!! I'm so glad he was there that day!!

Kindergarten started off a little rough for my sweet boy. He got into trouble the very first day and had to sit in the "think about it" chair! When we picked him up from school you could tell he was very bothered. After quite a bit of questioning, it finally came out that a boy pushed him, so Caden pushed back and got caught. He didn't like sitting in that chair and was afraid he would get into more trouble at home! Well - once it that chair was enough. We are just about done with the second week of school and he hasn't gone back in that chair - thank goodness!! He even managed to come home with a sticker twice for being a good listener! I'm so proud of my little man and so excited to watch him grow throughout the school year!

Last trip of the summer

We ended our super busy summer by spending some time up north at White Horse Lake in Williams, AZ with my whole family. We had a blast fishing, riding, hiking and just being in cooler weather!

Ok, I'm kind of irritated that this picture is sideways, because it wasn't like that when i uploaded it! Oh well.. Caden and his very first fish!! He was SO excited!! However the excitement quickly turned to tears when Big Al told him it was too small to keep and he had to throw it back! You would have thought the world was coming to an end - definitely broke his little heart!

Keegan and his fish.. This kid cracked me up. He would throw the line it, the second his bobber would hit the water, he would scream "I caught something!!" Reel in his line and sure enough, have a fish on the end. He must have done this 4 or 5 times! Definitely beginners luck for this kid! But he thought it was great and had a blast!

We found a super fun trail and hiked up to Sycamore Canyon. The kids did great on the hike and loved looking over the edge at the top. Here are my parents with all of their grandkids during one of our breaks!

Boy oh BOY!!!

Yup, that's right!! The Bott family is expanding by another BOY!!! After 2 long years we are finally adding another rascal to the bunch! We can't wait for our new little guy to come join our crazy family - due September 5, 2011..

We can't wait to meet you little man!! Love you to pieces already!!

I can't believe my baby sister is married!!!! My lucky parents how have all 6 of their children married off!!

My sister made such a beautiful bride! She was SO happy and I'm SO happy for her! Andrew is such a great guy and super fun. He fits right in with our family and I couldn't have asked for more for my sister! Showing off!! You're so beautiful!!!

Just yesterday

It seems like only yesterday I was loving this.....

And now I'm loving this.....

They grow up way too fast!!

Where has the time gone...

I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems to go faster and faster and I wish I could figure out how to slow it down. To play a little catch up, we had a wonderful Christmas this year. The boys are at such fun ages that surprising them is a blast. This year they ended up getting spoiled rotten, as always!

By getting a Camaro!!

To say that they LOVE their car would be a complete understatement. Caden is getting corrupted being around all these Bott boys that are car crazy. He can spot a Camaro on the road about a mile away.

They also got Motorcycles (bikes with plastic)! Keeg thinks he is hot stuff on this thing. Everyday they ask if we can go on a bike ride.. And with the weather being as beautiful as it has been we are taking full advantage.

Keeg celebrated his 3rd birthday on February 12th. I can't believe my baby is 3! But boy am I glad he's not a baby anymore. Keegan was not a fun baby in the slightest! He was very needy and clingy and would not be put down. And of course he only wanted Mom!! But he is growing into such a fun Toddler!! He is so sweet and cuddly. BUT he is also very mischievous and funny. He does not like to sleep so sometimes we find him in random places where he has passed out!!

I can't imagine that tile is very comfortable, but he ends up there quite often! Silly boy!
