So today has been a good day. We started out getting a few things out of the way. Literally. We had these huge boxes from their bunk beds, and so dan and andrew tore those apart and we hauled them away. most of them...some are still in my truck:(. Then we put away our winter coats.... cleaned the house, that sort of thing. I was vacuuming and it startled the kids, they must not have realized i was going to (even though they helped clean the floor so i could...and i was telling them that as they cleaned up with me, or should i say Andrew. Abby really could have been clueless...) anyways, abby really freaked out. dropped her cup of water and just stood there screaming for her life. So i had dan help her out, she clung to him and andrew hid behind him while i vacuumed. andy usually isnt REALLy scared of the vacuum anymore, but he seems to copy abby...maybe he figures the squeaky wheel gets the oil. that is the phrase right? i almost want to write the squeaky wheel gets the cheese...must be another saying with mice or something...cant remember...its 11 pm so i better hurry and get to bed. anyways, then we went out to the Bingham Copper Mine. We looked around outside, and watched their video (which was VERY interesting actually), and walked around the visitors center at all the neat things they have. Then we grabbed some taco's for dinner and ate at the park. This was a neat park, but one i am not a total fan of. the kids LOVED the zip line thing and these chains you try to walk on...not my vote for kids under 5... i like parks like the Draper park, where i can let them play with out fearing for their little lives if i am not following them EVERYWHERE. luckily, jen and dan and margo did a GREAT job following the kids...so i could just chill. Came home- kids were worn out! wahhooo! bedtime was a breeze. we watched SWAT. sort of a boring movie to me.... kind of one where you feel like "END already!" . so tomorrow leaves us with Sunday. I will teach primary and we will enjoy another family day before another week of work for dan. He is really liking Metlife by the way, we are so glad he is working there. so far it has been a really good fit and it seems like a very good company. Anyways, well goodnight! i've had a cold...so i hope i can sleep tonight! i've had such wierd dreams and crappy nights of sleep lately...anyways, yes, i am 26 weeks now. and baby is certainly growing! i feel her kick so much. the most ever was at a baby shower this past week, i ate a cupcake and some other sweets, and wholy cow! she was like a ping pong ball. apparently she is nearing 2 pounds this week. wow. that is amazing. and can hear, and blink, and swallow fluid and "breathe" the fluid. to help her lungs develop... i just hope she is healthy when she is born. i forget how much i worry about that with every pregnancy. i just hope she is healthy and normal and doing well when we greet her. so far so good... on the 1st i have an ultrasound and the diabetes test. hope that all goes well. it would really suck to cut out carbs! honey bunches of oats and carnation instant breakfast, and homemade (whole wheat!) waffles and pancakes have been my favorites... meat and protein have just not sounded so good most of this pregnancy. anyways, well, i really should go. oh- abby is singing ALL the time. doing actions to her songs, and usually can't remember how to end the song so she just goes over and over until she gets bored and then switches. We LOVE her singing. there isn't anything sweeter. she is such a fun girl. Andrew is done with headstart! the 18th was his last day, a class picnic at the park got rained out so they did it at the school in the classroom. He is very excited for next year already, which i have transferred him to Herriman, so we better get a MOVE on. literally. i don't want to be packing and cleaning out our place and moving any more pregnant than i already am... but anyways, well life is good mostly. of course rough spots, things we are working on (MOVING!).... but for the most part we feel very blessed right now. expecting a new baby girl, dan has a great job, moving is in our future, and i just hope things keep working out so well. i could get used to this;)
