Herriman Lake

she doesnt love the water as much as my other two...

she just wasn't tired the other night... 

andrew is the little life jacket out there, it was making me laugh that he was brave enough to go out there! i told him if he wore his life jacket he could swim to the middle... and he did! and stayed out there for a while too!

lately she has wanted me to rock her to sleep a few times, normally she just lays down so it was very sweet and i enjoyed the cuddle time.

American Girl!

she is just so cute! she is such a beautiful baby girl:)

she didnt want me to leave the other day so she layed on my foot. i guess she really does love me...sometimes she isnt quite sure tho...

mr t ball! 

our thrill seeker. she LOVES rides of any sort. at trafalga she went on the ride that drops you 5 times in a row and LOVED every minute....  she also loves water slides.

so there you have some pictures. We went to the Herriman Lake yesterday, then we dropped off the kids and dan and i went to raging waters on a date. it was packed, fun but soo crowded. we did the wave pool  and some slides. today i worked, the kids had a t ball game at 12. i missed that. luckily jen and margo were able to go and watch. andrew slept at jennys, and abby at margos. then we went to the new monsters university movie, and came home. I have been very busy with work, swimming, working out, trying to keep up the house, t ball and practices, and other random happenings. i feel very scheduled... which isnt always fun. i like being busy but i am ready for some down time. this next week i have tues off, but the kids have practice. then i work wed, thur, and fri. luckily i have saturday off. the kids have a t ball game at 9. we were going to hike ensign peak but bc their game is sort of early we may have to switch that. it was like 100 degrees the past few days and its supposed to continue. that is nice weather for swimming:) everytime we go outside abby acts like she is wilting... she doesnt want to walk to the car, or in the place we go, or buckle... she is a little difficult in the heat... anyways life is good. things are going well. well i am spent i think, i cant think anymore... so i will just sign off!

T Ball and American Fork Canyon

So today was pretty much an awesome day. its been a while since i have blogged and its time. really. so  this morning started out good, i made quiche for breakfast, although andrew and abby thought that was the worst possible start to their day. eventually they did eat a few bites and the day went on. We went to t ball. that was a fun first. the kids play on the same team and they have been really excited to start. andrew was a total natural, he was great a fielding the ball, throwing and batting. abby wasn't exactly a natural, she was asking when it could be done, because her "whole body was tired". haha. she needed a little prompting to run to the bases, get the ball, ect. but overall i think both had a good time. i loved seeing them play.
next up was a picnic to american fork canyon. why have i never gone up there to do this before?! it was so much fun. tibble fork was not just a fork in the road, it was a beautiful place we skipped rocks, and i dreamed of  being on a kayak paddling peacefully, alone, and silently thru the water. and my heart ached for that... i remember my mom saying she used to get up early at go out to kayak when they lived on a lake, and dream of the day i can do that. alone. just me and the lake. and the trees. and the sunshine.
anyways. back to today. we did that, then decided to go set up a campfire. we roasted steaks, marshmallows for smores, hot dogs, and enjoyed each others company. the kids really enjoyed being able to play outside, and aside from the 2 fires and river next to us preventing me from letting isabella loose, isabella had a good time too. she struggled a little while being in the stroller, but sometimes that happens...
i had been thinking of a few things while i was up there, everything is so grand. so majestic. bold. so beautiful. i loved it and i kept thinking to myself i need to get back there more often.

isn't that the truth? Didn't God create this world to bring us joy? I can't be  surrounded by beauty and not be reminded of who put me here, and what a gift this world is. there really is beauty all around. 

this also was good for me to hear this week, i feel like i get easily irritated and overwhelmed some days...

 anyways, well on to the rest of the pictures. i guess an update would be appropriate too. We have been busy with me working part time (most mornings 8-12) in south jordan at lifetime. it takes up so much of the day... its good to have the extra money but i will probably cut back soon. i miss my stay at home mom days. dan is working, gearing up for the fall and we are looking forward to that. great opportunities coming our way. feeling very blessed. the kids are just starting t ball, they like the gym most of the time. abby and andrew have most mastered the monkey bars, and andrew gets lots of basketball practice in. isabella is so sweet, she grabs my hand and brings to with her to hold her while she drinks her warm milk at night, just like she always has... she still loves me to hold her and feed her a bottle of warm milk. she is the sweetest little baby. i sure wish she would stop growing! abby learned to ride a bike a couple weeks ago. we took off the training wheels and away she went! i was shocked, no help, no crashing, just went. and can start/stop too. amazing! andrew is LOVING the neighborhood with several little boys his age. i get nervous if the come wanting to jump on the trampoline, but at times i allow it... dan has  put a nice garden in for us, and we are seeing the fruits of  our (his) labors! so exciting to watch the garden grow. really! anyways, thats a good little update. here are some pics. enjoy! we sure have been! life is great!
