One more week. Let the fun begin...

laughing at modern family. dont usually let the kids watch that, and i was surprised andrew found it funny... its not a bad show, just not a cartoon...

one minute hes laughing, the next fast asleep. gotta love melatonin at bedtime!

at his 5 yr checkup. very scared of shots. hiding in the "rocket' under the exam table. he was 38.8lb, 45%tile for weight, 40.5 in which was 16%tile for height.

While i took andrew to the doctors Margo watched my girls. i don't know what i would have done without her! Andrew was kind of a basket case, it was the day dan left, and he had to get shots. hard day for him.

at the living planet aquarium. the otter exhibit is so cute.

we got there right before the place closed, so it was empty ! usually packed. check out that big octopus at the top of the tank.

yes the paddle was nailed to the floor. she tried really hard though, i'll give her that!

how big compared to a penguin? all the penguins in the penguin part were not swimming at the time. so not too exciting...

you can't see it here but there are some HUGE fish in this tank.

buddys. the other morning abby woke up crying and said "i want my buddy" meaning andrew. she loves him sooo much.

last time we came here they had a story time in here and a little exhibit of stuff with things to color, ect...

Set Sail 2012!

the play area

andrew wanted LOTS of pictures for us to send to Daddy.

she was as good as could be in here the whole time.

trying to climb....

this is what i'm trying keep in mind for the next couple weeks. and years. what a sweet message. it makes me feel so much better about not being perfect today...what a lucky thing we have to have a true prophet here today. I just LOVE president Monson, he is one of the sweetest most tender hearted people ever. no wonder he is a prophet...

she LOVES "alaska bear"

he wanted to get dressed like 3 hours before church. ok by me!wearing his tux, and "cucumber" as he called it (cumber bun)

cute little guy isn't he?

he wanted to take a picture of me and isabella for daddy too.

our little Christmas Miracle!
SO dan has been gone 3 days now. safely made it to our new place in NJ. i'm so glad. i got so worried when he was leaving. it was just such a long drive to make solo. he stopped somewhere past des moines, i think altoona (sp? its been too many years, i don't remember the correct spelling of that town), and then in college town or something like that in pennsylvania. now he's "home". starts workin tomorrow:) i have gotten somwhere with packing! that is big:) i actually think i might have some real progress this week! since i'm not sick... january was not good to me that way. i've totally stopped working out, partly because i was sick for like 3 weeks in a row with different things, and partly because i feel like i just need to get more sleep and use my energy packing or cleaning. which is mentally exhausting i think, i have to think about everything i'm packing, "will i need this? if not should i store it? how will it store? what should i pack it with? should i just donate it?"... anyways this past saturday jen and margo took my kids to the dino museum and i got so much done in their rooms. almost completely done. just a few odds and ends things to pack up but mostly complete there. and i am almost complete in my room too. which leaves the bathrooms, toy room, and kitchen/living area. not too much. dan will take care of the basement. which is a good thing because i dont know what he would want and what he wouldnt.... i have such sweet kids. the other day andrew was asking me something (his favorite past time), and he said after a pause, "why do you know everything?" awe, i had to dust off my shoulders just a bit and smile. last night we had a movie night. i made dark chocolate ghiradelli brownies with mint chocolate chips and we had cookie dough ice cream with it. i even let the kids eat it on the couch while we watched Mulan. we cuddled with a blanket. i enjoyed it. when an eagle flew by i said "look abby a bird" and she said "no, thats a bagel!" haha close to eagle. she mixes words up very often. i'm actually going to have the dr check her ears for fluid on them... it just seems to happen A LOT. she called the aquarium "medium" for quite a while. telling daddy we went to "the medium!". at first i had no idea what she was talking about... it was cute, in church today my neighbor was holding Isabella and i had to go out of the class to help abby with the potty, and isabella caught me leaving. when i got back isabella had this big pouty face and her eyes were red, and i took her back and she just looked at me and pouted, holding back crying but it was so funny and so cute. she loves me! she really loves me! church was a miracle today! i really almost skipped sacrament meeting because its usually a very very trying time, the hardest hour of the week with 3 small kids, and the thought of doing it alone was too much...but i thought we're ready, lets just try it out. Faith precedes the miracle- and here is proof! isabella and abby BOTH slept the whole time basically and andrew just layed on my lap or sat next to me. wow. thats AMAZING. it was great. i actually heard TALKS. anyways, well im going to bed EARLY tonight. i find i stall like CRAZY when dan isn't home at night. i just want his warm body next to mine when i fall asleep. i even caught myself as i climbed the stairs thinking to myself "just pretend he's downstairs", and then i thought to myself as soon as that thought came- im being ridiculous! i can sleep alone once in a while! geez. but maybe thats why i worried so much when he left, i dont know what i'd do without my dan if something happened to him. he's been everything to me the last 8 1/2 years. thats a large chunk of my life. anyways here's som pictures.... can't be a post without pictures... So about one more week. then we'll be on our merry little way  driving across the USA  with 3 kids with a uhaul trailer:)
