Holidaying in the Rain

This is a lonely and sad christmas. I've missed the annual village Xmas celebration this year but I'm going to spend xmas in Desaru.

Feasting over platters of tropical fruits, and good food, think i had grow sideways. It's not 1 of the best holidays i had, but it's the most surprising holidays i ever had. Christmas this year was flooded with rain water. The visit to the fruit farm was more of educational rather than entertaining. Th ground was wet, and i had to roll up my jeans so that i wouldn't dirty it. It was so disgraceful. The weather was not too good, yet lady luck was siding with us. We were always safe in the van when it started to rain. The mini-farm hosted many little farm animals and there were rabbits, kois and little chicks.

Meh Meh peeing

Breakfast, lunch and dinner always started off with colourful plates of fruits, lining on the row of LONG table. The appetizers and the starters were all the fruits on the table. It's good to see, but not nice to eat. It can be so filling that you don't want to continue the main course anymore.

Fruits, anyone?

After lunch, we went to the coast of the island and i saw a fantastic view of the rock formation, facing me was the south china sea and a rock which was standing in the middle of the ocean due to the natural erosion of the waves. At that point in time, the natural beauty where the strong winds blew, and the waves roar, it was a real beauty. I saw the horizon, it was a bird's eye view where the sea and the sky meet. It was so fabulous.

The natural beauty: South China Sea

Dinnertime, colourful plates of fruits and something different, BBQ food.... Sounds delicious, indeed it was. The dinner was a heavy one, before we set off to watch the little stars of the night. It's the fireflies!!! It was a long, long journey to the dunno where river. A big boat waiting for us there, the place was dimly lighted, we put on our life jackets and hopped onto the boat. The boat sailed off in complete darkness, it was so dark that i can't see my own hands in front of me. I was rather amused by how the fireflies glow in the dark. It was so much like the Xmas trees lighting, blinking on and off. The most surprising part was the sky, lighted with many twinkling, twinkling little stars, it was an eye opener for me. I saw a zodiac sign but dunno what that was, it's a 3 stars lining in a straight row. The ride along the river was a long and peaceful one, the sky was so beautiful, this was the 1st time i ever see so many stars in my life.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year

Lost in accounting
Today, it's the last day in school, the topic on budget, something so simple yet so difficult, i was stuck somewhere in the months to compute the percentage, i kinda of understand the question, but can't seems to get the logic right. I was confused, asked SH how to do, she explained to me, but still, it's not registered into my brain, during the break, i tried again to make sure i understand completely, she explained again, still i know a little, dunno a lot, then i realized a funny sight, the classmates sitting in a row and two rows in front of me were also discussing the same confusing issue, we overheard their conversation, all of us, 3 pairs were discussing about the same issue. The lecturer said that it got to do with your understanding of english. I supposed there's something wrong with my english... Still in doubts throughout the 2nd half of the lecture, despite giving 101% attention. Somehow, halfway, went into deep thoughts to think of that question, that i became worried about the future of this module.

Swimming in the rain
It's been raining for the past few days, my bus passed by thomson road where all the nursery and florists were flooded, still for days, the flood had not subsided. Finished Mr "my dear friend" class yesterday before heading for lunch with villagers. I was almost late when i entered the class, luckily kio sms beforehand to ease the impact of the shock of her maggi-mee hair. I walked in quietly, noticing that "my dear friend" was eyeing on me, settled down and looked at the maggi-mee beside me, i wanted very much to laugh, but the lecture was so quiet. I turned and looked at her for many times. SH came in late, and was planted at the corner to avoid distraction, and i signalled to her about the maggi-mee. She, too was in for a shock. When "my dear friend" turned to write on the board, i bombarded the maggi-mee kio with questions, she was almost pissed off... During the break, the maggi-mee was the topic, with the antenna sticking out on both side of the head, CaiL which was in another class came down and joined us durin the break, and saw the maggi-mee, her eyes almost popped out. Nobody could take such a shock, or maybe a pleasant surprise. After class, i met up with ks and ber for lunch to pass the xmas present to them, i told them about the "new" maggi-mee classmate i had, they both laughed so loudly, and really they couldn't believe it. Maybe they'll be in for a surprise when they meet up on saturday. After lunch, we shopped around, hoping to buy some more xmas gift for the xmas gift, after all this year seems a little special with the special request by every other villagers, we were all trying to guess who's buying for who and must get the requested gift for them. Hmmm, everybody seems to have special request, but nobody asked me about it

Saturday Night Fever
It's been long since my dudettes and i met up. In the day, i was at my uncle's place paying respect to ah-gong death anniversary, and were discussing about some important family disputes, the younger generation like me and my cousins started playing monopoly in the room. Though it might seems childish with all of us already grown up in the teens and twenties, it's really amazing how it kept s entertained throughout the whole morning.
In the afternoon, YW and i went to get a new handset. It really made me blood boil when he became so persistent over the latest and very expensive sony ericsson phone, and not being able to pay for it. In the end, i had no choice but to comply.
At night, we met at somerset for international buffet, the food there wasn't that good but variety is wide to choose from. We spent the whole night there, chatting and exchanging presents before leaving for another chillout place. It was a tough decision to decide between ktv o a place to sit and chat. In the end, we settled down at starbucks cafe, we saw a few Tv artistes there, and the radio deejay, chongqing. In the end, we tried to have a closer look by sitting beside them and eavesdropping on their conversation. The 4 of us just sat and talked and enjoyed the ambience.

Accounting class or Art class???

Started the morning with the marketing test, again, i'm left alone to sit for the test, other have not finished studying so they skipped the test. Seems like i'm always outcasted when there's a test... **Shrugs** It was an hour test, very heavy weightage though marks not awarded, again, it really took me sometime to get into the point of writing. I ran out of points to write, and what i studied earlier seems to vanished yet some are mixed up. The brain is getting useless. The 3 other girls came in after the test, and continued with the lecture. However, we were separated today, not enough seats for the babes though.

Had lunch accompanied by a fruit platter, the joke of the day was 1 mango and 1 starfruit on the plate, ya, you should know what i'm talking about... haha

It's the 2nd half of the day, then continued with the second lecture of the day. SH shared another big joke with me, which seems yucky and crazy to me.... But what's done can't be undone, can't be helped, just be more careful next time.

Class started and a young lady was sitting in front of me, and what attract my sight was the huge bulk of colored pens she had, i told SH my observation, haha, she's in the wrong class boy!!!

From Laselle or NAFA or????

The dog lover's pencil case

The simple yet sophisticated pencil case

But throughout the lesson, her 2 friends beside her really made full use of the colored pens she had. Well, it's always a happiness to share things with your friends. Then SH's friend was sitting besides us, with the set of notes like crumpled newspaper, the lecturer was instructing us to do the tutorial and he was busy finding and digging for the page, when found, he copied from the transparency which was not the tutorial but other questions. We laughed at him, he was like a sleepy head and a blur sotong. Class sucks, i hated management accounting. The clock strike five, it's the happiest moment of the day.

Cursed Monday

Update 1: The Shy Temperament (introvert) Person

I feel tired all the time.
I do a lot of daydreaming.
I'm in a constate state of conflict.
I'm always fearful of something.
I keep feeling inferior to others.
I'm depressed a lot of the time.
I have to keep moving all the time.
I don't like competition.
My moods go up and down.
I'm usually anxious about something.

Update 2: Bad Omen

Monday is always not my day. Anywhere i am, it's always not good. Recently, i met my match. Ugly customers can come in thick skinned and spit out ignornant words from their coconut brains, insulting my words of prefessionalism. It's not nice, it's very bad... Well, i guess i'm already numbed to that feeling. I'm such magnanimous person, i won't be takin in by those petty people. It's the real world. Somehow, this monday was not very cursed, not quite busy though, and my brain was thinking and thinking for the whole day over the spate of incidents that happened recently, somehow i couldn't bring myself to believe it, but i can't turn back the clock, and just pray that things will get better soon.... Sometimes, i find myself so deep in thought, that i become oblivious to the surroundings. Sighz!

Update 3: TV license revoked

I'm glued to tv watching the annual stars award presentation ceremony. The show really was lousy. I can't imagine on national tv, how the best supporting male artiste shouted and screamed on screen like a mad dog, talking about his divorce and how he felt indebted to the ex-wife. He wants to talk, but i don't think many are interested in it. He was behaving like a lunatic giving a thank you speech. For goodness sake, some words shouldn't be voiced out loud.... The best leading male artiste was worst, it reflected his poor upbringing and bad manners. I was shocked to see how he took the trophy over from the presenters. It was like snatching for the trophy, and he's like as like he's taking it for granted. The show really disgraced, such standards are giving worst, rather watch the golden horse awards than this lousy blue star...

Update 4: Year End Closing

This year is coming to an end, and it's time to be merry... The most liked festival or occasion to exchange presents and have full of surprises. Happy news announced today during class, (i supposed my dear friend is going to india for a holiday!) i'm gonna have a long holiday till next year, no school, no work, just plenty of rest at home and (rot also). During socio class yesterday, we took back our test scripts, hmmm, i didn't fare well for it. It was too difficult or rather, i didn't study hard enough, then when i took back the scripts, i peeped at others' marks, hey, my marks was a little better than them, it's a form of self consolation. Then during the break where we had custard puffs, i saw the girl in front having a puff on her table but there wasn't any person sitting in that seat, probably reserving that seat for another friend of hers. Then after a while, i looked again, the custard puff was buried and covered up by the test paper, and nobody was at that seat, i told SH to see and she had a great laugh... How could one cover the puff like it's dead... Then another interesting scene that i observed in class was the fanciful colored pens that almost all of us had. The first thing when class started, i saw SH taking out some colored pens from her pencil case, and others did the same also... Haha. In today's class, the same scene happened again, i saw kio repeating the same procedure... Taking out many pens before settling down to write notes...

All for now!

Killer Monday

Monday always seems to screw me up, it's not my day.

Anger, as it builds emotionally, release adrenalin. Blood pressure rises. The heart rate speeds. Blood flows faster. Glycogen stored in the body tissues convert to simple sugars and muscle action. Stored power is made immediately available for explosive action but social laws prohibit your from expressing your anger in violence, you have to suppress it and in the make fo this mis-spent anger comes exhaustion.

Those nasty customers always never fail to turn up on a monday to screw my whole week upside down. It's always been an eye opener for me, for goodness sake, to see people of all walks of life. Quite frustrated to see customer denying my words of professionalism, though they ARE ALWAYS ignorant without knowledge of expertise, really made me looked like an idiot...

Case 1: Husband and wife came into showroom demanding for a quotation, ironically always mentioning about the I.D, I.D he has, yet stupidly choose the cheapest product. It quite contradicting of the financial wealth he has, hiring an I.D yet choosing the bloody cheapest product in my showroom. Well, he didn't seems quite happy when i " hang myself up to sell". Don't care, take it or leave it. It was a choppy process though, my life is shortened by a year or two....

Case 2: Woman in forties came in, was taking her own sweet time to see the products we carry. Living in condo yet so stingy, always calculating dollar and sense in front of me, no choice, the 1st and last rule: customers are always right. I can't be bothered with her, just did the things i supposed to do and ignore her for all i care. Then she saw a product on the showcase, and asked for a smaller piece. I gave her as requested, and she was like bargaining and complaining that the two products are different. God dammn it, i've said my piece, since you said it's different, it's your business, and i don't think you can afford it. my life is shortened by five to ten years from anger that i suppressed.

Case 3: Mother and daughter spent endless hours choosing stuff from the showroom. I couldn't be bothered with them discussing which is nice, i just stand at a distance, busy smsing my friend. Please let me know when you'll be ready. I'll be waiting, demanded from a sample of my product which i reluctantly gave her, and the 1st word wasn't thanks, it's to comment that i'm a stingy fella, what the fu*k!!!! I've to take instructions from my boss and customer come down on me, i'm sandwiched between. Ought to be thankful rather than saying something hurtful, asssss.........

Anyway, night seems to perk up by news from kpo queen. Somebody is getting married, wowww, it's the 1, 2, i think it's the third unexpected BIG BIG news ba, friends, friends.... Life is always full of unpredictable events and incidents. Seems like i'm the only one left on the s _ _ _ _, haha, i don't mind, i'm binded to the commitments i have now....

Saturday without bro was a peaceful one, dad and mom and i went shopping. Cristofori is relocating, no more piano sales here, but prices was like slashed but half.... It's the right time to invest in it... We walked in, dozen of pianos had a SOLD on it. The young salesman dressed in coat came over, started to talk about his products, trying to charm us with his music skills, gosh!! very charismatic, i was smitten, haha (not to mention mom too).... Suddenly, the hamamatsu brand caught my eyes, the digital was going at a affordable price, i was tempted.... Mom and dad seems pleased with it, but space constraint was an influencing factor, the plan to buy backfired...

Jing was telling me about her goals in life in music. It's quite happy to see her back into the music world with me, and she's the chance for piano, cool man... It's quite a big break for her, we talked about teacher always wanting us to learn elementary stuff and techniques and IT'S NOT THE QUANTITY THAT COUNTS, IT'S THE QUALITY THAT MATTERS. Scores for dunno what world music really made my fingers tangled up. Now that the exam obstacle is over, my style of learning had also changed, teacher forced me to be very independent, dependent on myself for any progress... i thought that it was the wrong move, i wasn't really hard on myself. It's always the determination in me that really boost my energy level...

It's always a happy thing to hear and see how friends progress in life, be it in career or music, or other aspects, i am happy to have friends to share happiness with or for them to share their joy with me.
