New culture, new faces, new working patterns and style, It's rather difficult to adjust to my new working environment... I have to get out of the house before the sun rises. Even though there's nothing much to do at work, I'm trying hard to find out more about the organization and my colleagues so as to facilitate my work in future.
My day really brightens up when it's 7pm, the time for TV!!!!! Glittering Days is such a nice and relaxing sitcom cum drama. Looking forward to the last few episodes of it!

Time- Waster
Today, I was really bored to tears that I nearly want to pull out all my hairs. I always believe that time is very precious and I ought to maximize and fulfil my time... However, 3 to 4 hours of today's time was wasted doing nothing. Due to H1N1 crisis, I was deployed to the very front line of security, taking temperatures and making sure everything was done the proper way. It might seems honeymoon period for me but the thought of doing nothing really get on my nerves....

First day at work
My official first day of work was not really a pleasant experience. I was asked to wait for about an hour before I could see the relevant personnel. However, they were unaware of my existence and need to check with the higher level. I felt so neglected and went to tour the place on my own. After which, I was briefed and issued an access card and went home.

TV Marathon
The moment I woke up this morning, was to turn on the TV. I was so into the HK drama - Last One Standing (Yu Di Tong Xing) and watched to finish it asap. After doing my chores and finishing my breakfast, I started to watch all the way till early afternoon, till I had to do some work, it was purely addictive mainly because of the good story plot and how well the cast acted in.... After finishing my work, the first thing I did the moment I stepped into the house was to switch on the DVD player and continue my HK drama. Haha, I finally "sha qing" (finish) the drama todaY!!!! WOohOOO.... After dinner, my family sat in front of the TV again for the channel 8 7pm show, Glittering .... (Dong Fang Zi Zhu), I just like the light hearted drama where there are lots of oldies sung.... Somemore, it was a 2 hour episode on a friday night!!!! Followed by The Ultimatum, we did not watch channel 8 but was ahead of the broadcast as we were on MobTV, we all watched 3 episodes at 1 go!!! Aiyoyo, it was really very exciting as many cast in the show were dying one after one just because of a secret..... But really, the critics that reflected on papers has shown how non-original the story plot was....

Slacking Saturday
I was glued to the TV for the whole of yesterday morning. I was catching The Ultimatum on MobTV..... Somehow, I conclude that there were scenes which seems very funny....
Whenever the Ye family was in their house, everyone was holding to a glass of wine, as if their house do not have plain water...
It's also very stereotype, the family members all die eventually
The story plot seems very much alike Heart of Greed even though I only watched 20 epi, and it's all very dog bite dog type....

Short Getaway
6th June 2009
I left home at 9.30am to travel to Kranji MRT to meet up with the other villagers. We were on our way to JB for a short stay at sexy's new house. We were quite lost at the station as there were 2 separate queues and all of us were like 1st timer to travel to JB. We ended up asking many people how to take the bus. We waited for the smiling yellow bus to fetch us to the immigrations, after which we queued again for the smiling bus to fetch us across the causeway to Malaysia's customs. It was such a long queue and there were lots and lots of people queuing everywhere... We didn't know where to queue and we tried asking somebody around us which was quite ironical... They didn't know what they were queuing for as well!!!!! We found the queue finally and the traffic jam across the causeway was horrendous!!!!! We got such for almost an hour, and the bus had very bad ventilation and it was as if we were in a sauna.... Finally, we reached the customs and sexy and jaz were waiting for us in their cars.... I felt sOoOOooOo glad and relieved as we were finally in safe hands of our friends...
Jaz bought us to a restoran for brunch and the yong tau foo there was quite nice.... Authentic fish cake as starters and 100-plus to boost our energy level... After which, we went Jusco for shopping and the mall was filled with people... We didn't wanted to shop and we stopped over at DVD shop where we whopped up many DVDs for our movie marathon before hopping over to another Jusco near sexy's house where occifer requested for A&W snacks! We ordered some floats and waffles and curly fries to share among us and the waffles was not very done and I had a hearty laugh at how they "operate" on the pancakes.... We went shopping for some food and headed to sexy's house... We played mahjong and watched DVDs before having supper, we also bought a cake for occifer to celebrate her belated birthday. We played Wii as well, and there were so much jokes and entertainment when KS and kio played boxing!!!! In the wee hours, we watched a horror movie- The Uninvited which made us feel so awake and could not go to sleep...

We woke up, brush up and went for dim sum. In the car, there was stench of dog poo and it turned out that occifer had stepped on dog poo.... Oh man, the 5 of us had an unbearable time in the car.... Occifer was so miserable and guilty as KS mocked at her....Occifer was apologizing to sexy for the misfortune and nobody wanted to talk to her.
Occifer turned to KS and apologize...
KS: "Don't talk to me, You are full of shit" which made everyone laughed!!!
After we reached our destination, we opened all the car doors and cleaned the poo away. As we opened the doors, we all teased that sexy's car plate will turn out as 4D for the day... Everyone of us checked our soles and it turned out that KS had the biggest patch of shit after all.... Both of them had a hard time cleaning the shit off their soles.... What a funny joke.... The dim sum was very nice compared to those that I had in SG..... And careless KS realized that she left her contact lens at sexy's house and we had to detour back... We went for another round of movie spree as all of them are movie addicts... After that, we went for Old Town White Coffee as it was occifer request... Back in the car, there were so much confusion as to what drinks were bought and whether we got a free drink or not... We drank some coffee at sexy's house before leaving for SIN....
It was a memorable 1st trip for me and jaz and sexy were very hospitable. Anyway, I'm very thankful and grateful as they took the trouble to organize and plan the itinerary for our village even though the jam at causeway was a bad experience!!!!

A Shopper's Proudest Moment
Greatest achievement for the dayBeing a mild shopper, i turned a wild shopper yesterday, 31st May 2009..... I went to the Expo with my aunt and we only covered the Food fair and she raised the white flag and went home... As a fanatic and having crazy obsessions with Pocky Biscuit, I managed to whopped up a bag of 8 flavours, which I'm really really delighted.... Lugging my goodies bag, I hopped over to John Little sale and bought some cheap clothes... After which, I dashed over to Popular Sale where I laid my hands on some great deals... I ended up lugging 2 bags like an oba-san, taking the MRT....
Back home, my Pocky sticks seems so precious that I cannot leave them laying around lest they get eaten by the "rats" at home, and they ended up being hung in my room door waiting to be devoured by me...
