It is so fun to have so many friends in our same stage.  I love doing baby play dates.  Bridger really likes to watch Gracie.  She plays the typical "hard to get" role and acts like she doesn't even care.  And Bridger will just stare at her.  They are going to be fun little friends.

We got a group of friends together from the ward for a kickball and ultimate frisbee game.  It was great!

Going Home

     After I graduated and moved to Rexburg my family was so excited to see me every time I came home!  Then I married my Devin and when we'd come home they were only excited to see him.  Now our little Bridger has become the center of attention and he is the only one they care about. 
     A normal conversation with my famiy goes like this "Hi ... How is Bridger doing?" ... "We miss Bridger, when will you bring him to see us next?"... "Okay give Bridger hugs and kisses from us".
     I can't say I blame them though.  I love my boys too!

     It really doesn't take too much persuasion to talk us into going home.  We love any excuse to take us home for a visit; and we are lucky enough to be able to do that because of Devin's airport job. The last trip was for my cousin Tiffany Bell's wedding and to see Sister Jenny Webre off on her mission.  

      My siblings love Bridger and can hardly wait their turn to hold him.  They all try to get ahead on being the favorite aunt/uncle.  Landon made a strawberry smoothie just about every morning we were there and he always made sure I shared with Bridger.  Bridger of course loved it and would start crying every time I would stop feeding him.  Along with smoothies Bridger also loves watermelon and popsicles!  We give our boy all the good stuff!

         Bridger discovered his tongue in Utah.  He has become my little lizzard.

My Garden...

                    is  dying!
     It is so sad.  The weather turned hot and my plants started wilting away.  My tomatoes and cucumbers are done for.  I still have hope that if I keep them watered they will come back to life...
     However my pepper plants are doing great!  I've already gotten two peppers.  I hope I can keep them alive.

Nationals VS White Sox

Devin's friend and old roommate Sam is also living here in Virginia.  We like having friends like him because he had extra tickets and invited us to this baseball game!  (This was several weeks ago).  We planned to show up a little late knowing how long baseball games can sometimes run.  However this game went quicker than planned and we showed up at the end of the 6th inning. 

We had great seats!  We were 6 rows from the front and were right at 3rd base.  Devin thought we'd be sorry for not bringing a mitt if a foul ball came our way.  The game was rather uneventful though.  Only one run was on the board when we got there and that's the way it ended.

It was the quickest baseball game I've ever seen, but it was fun and we loved being so close! 

5 Months and New Tricks!

Bridger turned 5 months today! 

He is such a lucky guy.  He gets a birthday every month!

Well he must have decided he wanted to do something special for this birthday to make it a little different from the rest, so he learned some new tricks. 

He rolled over! 

He did it twice in a row from his tummy to his back!

I was feeding Bridger today and he had a massive blowout! This is not entirely unusual.  Actually these blowouts occur quite regularly.  I expect one at least every other day.  Somehow this time he missed his diaper completely.  He also missed his onesie and miraculously even his shorts stayed clean.  Unfortunately mine did not.

I love my boys!

I love love LOVE my little boy Bridger!  I am truly amazed every day at the wonderful gift Heavenly Father has blessed me with when he gave me this little angel to raise.  I can often feel his angelic spirit and I know he is one of the "noble and great ones".  I sometimes feel inadequate to the task as I look to the future when he will be starting school and entering this corrupt and wicked world, and I hope as his mother I can prepare him. 
I love Bridger's little face and his big cheeks!  I love how peaceful he looks when he sleeps and the warm, glowing feeling that seeps through me when he falls asleep in my arms.  I love his happy little smile and his grunting when he is trying to suppress a giggle.  I love his tiny toes and his little fingers.  I love the expression of learning and wonder on his face when he discovers something new.  I LOVE this boy of mine!

I love love LOVE my little boys daddy!  Devin is a great father to Bridger!  I love to see how excited he gets to see his boy when he gets home from work.  I love to see him playing with Bridger.  I love the silly noises he makes and the different voices he uses when he has little conversations with Bridger and when he makes him laugh.  I love what a helpful husband he is!  I love the hard worker he is.  I love that the is the kind of guy who can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.  I love how he laughs and chuckles when he watches the chubby cubby cake boy, again and again and again on youtube. I love the way he makes me feel safe and secure.  I love when he wraps his arms around me in a hug and when he gives me kisses.  I LOVE this man of mine!
