I took Luke and his cousin Jackson to the BYU basketball game on Wednesday night. They were so excited. We parked in the MOA parking lot a walked the path over the road and into the south side of the Marriott center. They were so excited to walk on the "bridge" and then the "tunnel" before we got to the game. Once there, they loved it. They kept asking where Cosmo was, but he wasn't out much that night. So after awhile, they came up with a joke that lasted the whole night. They would tell me, Oh theres Cosmo. I would look around and answer, I don't see him. Just kidding. So being the trusting dad, uncle, I am. I got tricked for the first five times. Then I finally caught on and was never fooled again. Luke was his usual, crazy kid personality. He couldn't sit still. Wanted to play with Jackson, asked me to play games on my phone a few times. But Jackson, was all into it. Paid attention the whole time and asked several questions during the game about what was going on. Jackson made sure I clapped every time the white team(BYU) scored. It was alot of fun and look forward to doing it again. These pics are from my iphone, so don't expect a high quality!
Luke has been asking for something to eat before he goes to bed lately. Last night he requested a sandwich. So we told him he has to make his own sandwich if he wants to eat. And so off to the kitchen he went to play chef. On the menu, was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
On Saturday, Erin's sister Holly invited Luke over to go sledding. She has a small hill in her backyard. The kiddos had a blast. Sledding was followed by a snowball fight. No pictures of the snowball fight were taken because I was participating and did not want the camera to get wet. We did not get alot of good pictures because it starting snowing and the camera was focusing strange due to objects flying everywhere in the air...

Tate is a much better sport at his age about wearing those glasses. When we would try and put them on Luke he would just take them off immediately. I think we were able to get a shot or two if I recall of Luke, but Tate will wear them around the house. Now he just needs a patch! This is the snow we got last night. Bummer. I was hoping for snow only in the mountains from here on out. Oh well!
Last week the fog moved in the North end of the Salt Lake Valley. I headed up above the Capitol to see if I could get above the fog and was successful. In one of the pics, you can even see the top of the Salt Lake Temple on the right. Here are a couple of pics I took with my UHP camera. Would have been better if I had my Canon but I thought they turned out pretty dang good. Enjoy...
On January 12,2010 Erin's sister invited me to speak to some cub scouts in her ward about safety issues. Its funny what scenarios such young kids could come up with. But all said and done, it was alot of fun.
