Time to Fly Kids Run

Saturday morning we braved the aftermath of the crazy thunderstorms and headed to Harriet Island for the Time to Fly Run benefiting childhood cancer research. This was Justin's first kids race, and he was awesome! He ran the entire 1/2 mile run without stopping and even sprinted it in for the finish! Colin finished very strong only a few seconds behind the lead older kid pack. It was such a fun morning with lots of kids activities. Adam was very content to be pushed along in his stroller as I raced him to different parts of the course taking pictures. :) Excellent job by all my boys!

Summer Day O' Fun

Jason took the day off from work on Monday so we could have a family day of fun. It was such an awesome day! We had gorgeous weather and hit the bike trails at Snail Lake. Adam loved being pulled in the bike trailer and Justin was fabulous on his two wheeler. I just love the trails--scenic wooded trails--it was just LOVELY! After our bike ride we went to the park for a picnic lunch and play time. Colin designed an obstacle course through the playground equipment and raced himself repeatedly until he got his fastest time. Ice cream finished up our morning and then it was time to nap and rest up for the two soccer games that night. Summer is finally here!
