Rice Park

It's Christmas season! This weekend we put up our Christmas tree and Christmas decorations! It is such a fun time of year. The weather on Saturday was a balmy 35 degrees so we headed to St. Paul to watch them light the trees in Rice Park. They had a band playing kids music and mini fireworks following the lighting of the tree. It was quite magical! :)

Justin's 6th Birthday!!

Happy birthday to our AWESOME Justin!! The evening of his birthday we had his friends party so we decided to celebrate with just our family the night before the big day. :) We had McDonalds for supper and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cupcakes for dessert. The birthday boy got to open some presents early and loves his new drum mat.

 



On his actual birthday, Jason went in and had lunch with Justin. After school we went to Zero Gravity for his birthday party. It is a super fun place of various trampoline activities. The boys all had a blast! Happy birthday to our sweet 6 year old!

Fall leaves

This post is a few weeks late especially now that there is half a foot of snow on the ground. We really did have a beautiful Fall during the months of September and October. The weekends were warm and after the boys finished up soccer and football we played outside in the leaves! Jason would make touchdown passes as the boys made superman catches while launching themselves into the massive pile of leaves. The other fun game included hiding hot wheel cars in the leaves and then furiously searching all the while leaves are being thrown about. Alas, all of that is done now and we head into sledding season. :)

Halloween

It was a chilly but super fun Halloween this year! The boys went with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Tutle theme. Justin dressed as Leonardo, Adam was Raphael, and Colin was the turtles' favorite food--pizza! :) It was a busy fun day from morning til night. Adam's daycare does a costume parade in the morning so I went and had breakfast and spent a few hours with him before the parade started. He and his best friend, Nathan, were both turtles--so cute! I then headed over to the elementary school and had lunch with Colin and his friends. The 3rd grade class went bowling and I was able to join them for a fun afternoon. Jason helped out at Justin's Halloween party at the Kindergarten Center. They also had a parade and then played fun games. Later that night we joined our friends and went around the neighborhood trick o treating. The boys had a great Halloween and devoured their candy within 4 days. Yummy candy!!
