Valerie's 2- Year Photo Shoot

Thanks to our new camera, we were able to get some great pictures of Valerie. Valerie is so full of life! She is a very intense little girl...whether she is happy, playing, fighting, screaming, crying, or loving, she does it all the way. Since having Valerie I have gone through some difficult times, and I feel the Lord sent her to me to help me learn more about myself and my role as a mother. She is teaching me patience, she is teaching me to let things go...to not sweat the small stuff, she is teaching me how important it is to give the kids attention and always put them first, and most importantly she is teaching me that prayer really does help when I feel like I can't do it anymore. I love having a little girl, and I am grateful that she challenges me to be better.

Life's A Beach!

While Doug and Rosanna were visiting, we got to take a trip to the beach with my family. Although it was freezing cold, the kids still had fun digging in the sand. I think trips to the beach are the best; they're free, the kids have a great time, and they all sleep on the drive home! Doesn't get much better than that. I love these pictures of Valerie and Darryl....she's got him wrapped around her little finger!

Valerie's birthday was on Sunday, so here's the birthday girl all dressed up and ready for church!





Then my family all came over for dinner and she got to open gifts and have some more cupcakes!

Valerie was lucky enough to have a few different celebrations for her birthday this year. Here is her first party at Grandma Lauritzen's house. I can't believe she's 2 already!!!

On the weekend of Valerie's 2nd birthday we had a fun visit with Doug and Rosanna. (Pictures of Valerie's birthday coming soon....) Had to take a sister's picture!
