First Dayz

Since we are waiting another year to start Damon in kindergarten, we decided it would be beneficial for him to go to preschool. He doesn't like it when I try to work with him at home, so I thought maybe he would pay attention better and be more willing to learn from someone other than me. He was so excited for the first day, we even had to make a paper chain to count down to the first day of preschool so that he would stop asking me 400 times a day when it was going to start. He is really enjoying having his "own" thing to do. He wasn't sad at all when I left him, which tells me has matured a lot since last year when he was in speech and almost ripped my arm off begging me not to leave him.

Excited to go!

Kyle got to show us around his classroom on Back to School night, so we got a few shots of that, and of his first day of first grade. Kyle is really enjoying school this year.

Valerie's Sister!

Ever since we made the decision to not have any more kids, I have felt kind of bad for Valerie that she'll never have a sister. So I decided to do something about it. Introducing the newest member of our family...









Her and Valerie get along great! They never fight, and in fact her new sister is so quiet and well-behaved. She doesn't even cry when Valerie pulls her hair, pokes her eyes out, or pushes her down. We sure got lucky with this one!

Picture Overload

I've been wanting to get some nice pictures of the kids at the ages they are right now...2,4, and 6. Since Damon will be 5 in a couple months, I decided I better get on it! We took them to downtown Riverside near the Mission Inn, and were able to get a ton of great shots. I am really starting to love taking our own photos, now that I am learning more about all the awesome picture editing programs. Darryl takes the shots and I clean them up and edit them. It's so much fun! Here are just a few (a total understatement) of my favorites!
