Thanksgiving

I've been so sick and not feeling like doing much of anything, especially traveling to spend Thanksgiving with any family. So, we stayed close to home. We ended up going out to eat for Thanksgiving! No cooking, no clean-up but no leftovers... bummer! A different Thanksgiving for us but we had fun together!

Anna Kate had gotten very quiet while playing in her room. I went to check on her and found her reading books! She loves books!

The Clubhouse

I've been feeling so sick and by the time Mike gets home from work I'm DONE. I head to bed and Mike and Anna Kate head downstairs to build "Anna Kate's Clubhouse!" She loves it!

Coloring!

Mike flattened a box and let Anna Kate color on it. She was so excited when the white crayon actually "worked" on the brown cardboard.

Hail Storm

We were hit with a crazy hail storm. Our back deck ended up with at least an inch of hail. Anna Kate thought it was great!

Playing at the Playground

It was such a nice day that we stopped at Geneva Elementary School on our way home from running errands so Anna Kate could play. She saw the school when we drove up and said, "It's a school. I LOVE SCHOOL!" complete with crossing her arms across her body to sign the word "love" while she said it. She had a great time running around and climbing on everything she could. When it was time to go, she sat on this curb... she didn't want to leave. (She calls these shoes her kitty-cat shoes because they are fuzzy inside!)

Snuggle with Mommy

This past Sunday was our Primary Program at church. Being the primary chorister, I had to sit up front and Anna Kate got to sit with Mike. Unfortunately, Anna Kate was not too happy about me not sitting with them and kept saying, "I want to snuggle with Mommy!" I never thought I would see the day where I would win out over daddy!

Super Cool

Anna Kate is so funny and picks up on so much we say. She's been saying, "Oh wow, that's really COOL!"

Three Little Bears

Anna Kate loves putting together this Three Little Bear puzzle.

She likes to make as many bears as possible with all the different outfits.

Mickey Mouse Toys!

Anna Kate wakes up in the morning and from naps asking for her Mickey Mouse toys. She says, "Mickey is my favorite!" She plays with them all day long... lining them up, acting out things from the show or just playing.

I'm bummed the balloon string is right down the middle of her face. What a cute smiley girl! She got the balloon from Red Robin for having good manners while we ate. Of course we had to remind her about getting the balloon almost the whole time so she would use good manners! Anna Kate says, "I LOVE Red Robin!"

Goofy glasses!

Anna Kate is always saying, "I can't see. I need my sunglasses!" Maybe these will do...

Kitty Love

Anna Kate LOVES her kitties! She also loves to pretend to be a kitty. Sometimes she will talk in "meows" for full conversations and she loves it when I "meow" back.

She got a scratch on her face in nursery on Sunday. We aren't sure what happened but she says a book bumped her.
