Jazz Game pics

Here are the fun pics we took at the Jazz game that I went to a while back. My mom, dad, brother, and me. My mom and brother are die-hard Jazz fans, my dad and I like the Jazz but not like my mom and brother, so really we should have been sitting together, instead of being on both ends!

Week in Review

We start off this long post of pictures with Jackson and Kaitlin assuming Brian's position as reading in the chair in the corner. It's about 10pm (way past bedtime!) and this is what I found them doing. Too cute to not take a picture! Jackson was so serious about it too...
Jackson longs for the time that he will get to snowblow the driveway and walkways like Brian, but since that is far off, Brian handed him a shovel and he loved it. So our 4 yr old slave, I mean, son, shoveling the walkways for us.

This shirt has seen better days. It's been soaking in Oxyclean for days... Kaitlin was way too quiet one day and I caught her in my makeup drawer putting mascara on her lips. Gothic I guess?

Last Sunday, Jackson had been wearing the shirt in the one of the next pictures and by the end of the day, he said his neck was burning. He'd had an allergic reaction to it, I guess, so he decided that the coldness of the refrigerator would make him feel better.. hence, why he is standing in the fridge. I can see the logic!

We took the kids to a Utes (GO UTES!) game on Saturday. On our way down to our seats, a man stopped us and asked if wanted free U temp. tattoos for the kids faces - of course, they were all over that! And here is the awesome U shirt that my friend Rachel made for Kait. It's funny because she looks down on her shirt while wearing it and always tells us, "the U is upside down!" And while at the game, we traditionally get the kids an ice cream cone in the 2nd half to keep them busy. So, this day, Kait chose strawberry, as evident on her shirt!

Jackson's Christmas Program

These pictures are out of order but Jackson did not want to sit on Santa's lap, though he finally did it!
This is Miss Amy - Jackson's favorite teacher. Last year, it was Miss Catherine whom he talked about nonstop, now it's Miss Amy. She told him that he had a cute haircut a couple of weeks ago and he talked about it all day long - that Miss Amy thought his hair was cute!

Logan's Christmas Program

Monday was Jackson and Logan's Christmas program's at Challenger. We finally were able to see some of Logan's friends that he talks about all the time.

These are the 3 friends he talks about nonstop. From L to R: Kindra (his absolute best friend - she had her arm around him during the program almost the whole time!, Logan, Jacy, (not sure who the next girl is), and Keon.

Santa Clause made a surprise visit to the kids after their performance.

Sadly, this is the first picture ever that we have of Logan sitting on Santa's lap!

Jacy wasn't overly anxious to stand next to Santa but she eventually did it.

Don't Eat Pete!

I was browsing through one of my favorite sites today, Tip Junkie, and I came across 2 reminders of games that I had made a few years ago, but never had played with my kids. The first is called, "Don't Eat Pete!" I have no idea where I got this copy but I think it's cuter than any of the other ones I found on the internet. You put an M&M on each square, send someone out of the room, and everyone decides on a "Pete." The person comes back into the room and eats an M&M one at a time. When they get to the designated "Pete" everyone yells, "Don't eat Pete!" Jackson was the first to go out and he totally got it. He was laughing so hard when we yelled at him. Next, Brian left, and the kids loved yelling at him as well. Next, it was Logan's turn. If you know Logan, you know he's a little sensitive so he told us to not yell at him, to just whisper. So we did, and he still cried anyway. Next was Kaitlin. I think she normally would have loved this game but she'd had a short night of sleep the night before so she started bawling too. So needless to say, a really fun game for toddlers didn't go over so well at our house - 2 out of 3 cried!

So we moved onto this darling game of Bingo that my cousin let me borrow a few years ago (which I then copied and laminated for my family). My kids love Bingo so they were especially excited when I brought this game out. We used Fruit Loops as the game pieces. Everyone loved this game, and there were no tears. Much more successful than "Don't Eat Pete!"

Lunch

Kara, Angie, Liz H, and I put together a lunch for our teams at Red Robin last Saturday. So these are the awesome gals from our team that could make it!
Some of the gals that went to convention together, reunited! We all stayed in the same room and had a great time together. We missed Liz K though! (she lives in Iowa) It was so fun to see everyone again!

Kaitlin's Escapades

Hey Aunt Tammi! Look at me!! It sure did snow a lot today and Kaitlin is our one kid that LOVES to be out in it! The boys love it too, but not nearly as much as Kait does.

One of the malls near where we live has a fun play area for the kids so after we dropped the boys off at school, Kaitlin and I met some friends at it for some lunch and playtime. It was the perfect activity for a snowy day!

Letters

We have several kids in our neighbord serving LDS missions for our church so we decided to write letters to them last Monday evening. The kids decorated the front page and then Brian and I wrote notes to them on the back.

Brian asked each of the kids, "If you could say something to the missionaries, what you would say?" Jackson: "I want to go to Legoland!" Logan: "In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!" Kaitlin: "Say cheese!"
