We had a nice trip visiting our friends in Little Rock. The kids had a good time playing and the adults had a good time visiting and shopping. We took the kids to eat at the train restaurant, All Aboard!

Christmas 2011
We had a great Christmas season this year. We are once again very blessed! Thank you to all our family and friends that shared this special holiday with us. We had a wonderful time sharing good food and fun times with everyone!
Julia, 5 years; Joseph, 2 years
We got lots of new ornaments this year. These homemade jesters were some of our favorites.
Santa's Visit
I guess that Julia and Joseph were nice this year because Santa brought them what they had asked for. Julia got a Barbie Dream house complete with a jacuzzi tub, flat screen t.v. that rises from the fireplace, and ringing doorbell and flushing toilet. She also got a Cinderella horse-drawn carriage, Tiana princess dress and a new bath towel. A red firetruck plasma car was Joseph's surprise gift. He loved it and his new John Deere combine and vaccum cleaner. He also now has a dress-up cape/shield to wear when Julia dresses as a princess.
We had told Julia to come into our room when she woke up. She glanced into the living room and then came running into our bedroom. She saw that she had gotten toys, but said that Joseph didn't get anything because he had been naughty. Ha! She was surprised when she actually got into the living room to see that he had gotten presents.
Santa took Elfie with him back to the North Pole, but since Julia really wanted snow on Christmas morning, Elfie left a snow angel. She was pleased because it was shimmery!
