Carter's 1st Shots

Carter had to go & get his 2 month shots today :( ... One in the left thigh, & two in the right. It was the second time I have ever seen him have tears. How sad!! Luckily Justin was home to go with me, I made him hold him! He is a little chunkster though he is two & a half months old & weighs 14 & 1/2 lbs. (with his clothes on)Right before his shots

Luckily he is tough, & only cried for a minute..By the time we left the building he was sound asleep!!

Jabberin'

This is our morning routine, he will lay here & talk to me for about a half hour & just be as happy as can be...Notice how he never holds still, I don't know how he is chubby!! Here pretty soon we are gonna have a jabber box on our hands!!

Bear Lake

It was Carter's first camping & swimming experience this past weekend. We went to Bear Lake Saturday day & spent the night in a camper at Bear Lake Hot Springs. Carter slept the whole ride there, & the whole way back! I can't believe what a good baby he is.

Sunday day we rented jet skis for about two hours, it was tons of fun! It wasn't too hot, so it was perfect. Here are a few pictures of his first over night trip!

Hair Change

On Sunday I decided to have my mom help me dye my hair brown while we were down at their house...We only bought one box of brown hair dye. So, we put the box of hair dye in & it looks like its gonna go brown, I get in the shower, rinse it out & blow dry it...it ends up looking like I have gray hair with greenish/purplish highlights LOL! So, I was all worried..Luckily my mom had another light brown hair dye at her house. Again this time we dye it & it looks like its gonna be brown..and thank goodness the second time it really did turn out brown & I didn't end up having gray hair or purple highlights!! Here is a before & after picture, I wouldn't let my mom take an inbetween picture (sorry guys)

Baby Contest

Saturday morning we put Carter in the Franklin County baby contest at the Fairgrounds in Preston. They could only wear their diaper.. He was in the categories bluest eyes & cutest smile. Since he so little or course he just sat there during the contest :) ...We won a door prize though which was 25$ to U & I Furniture. Here are a few pictures & no we didn't get to pick our number on Justins shirt :)

Saturday Fun

Saturday night we went over to the Bull Bonanza. Justin & Ricky were in the wild cow milking contest..Ricky was supposed to be the one to rope the cow, Justin would hold it in place & Chauncy, Justin's friend would milk it. It didn't really turn out that way. Ricky ended up getting a huge rope burn down his arm because he tried to hold onto the rope & got plowed over by a different cow. Once they finally did catch one, Justin did a good job of dragging his butt on the ground to keep the cow in one spot. They were definately entertaining for everyone to watch!! Pictures would have explained things a lot better, I'm pretty bummed that I forgot my camera.

After the Bull Bonanza we had some friends over & had a bon fire & played catch phrase & cards.
We had a fun time...

It was my first time leaving Carter over night :( luckily it was with my mom & dad, so I didn't have to worry about him! There were a lot of little babies at the Bull Bonanza, but i'm pretty sure he had tons of fun at Grandma & Grandpa Cardon's!! Thanks so much for watching him.

Diamond Rio

Justin & I went to Diamond Rio at the Fair Grounds last night, we had decent seats down on the floor (not like you would need to be any closer, like any of the old geezers are hot -lol).. It was pretty fun & just a little bit cold. I didn't know Diamond Rio had so many good songs. It only lasted about two hours including the opening guy, so that was kinda disappointing but overall we had a good time!

2 months old!

Wow- crazy how time flies. Carter is already 2 months old. I can't believe it..He is getting funner & funner everyday. He can hold his head up, smiles like crazy, squeals & is starting to talk a little bit more... oh & he's finally got a tiny bit of hair :)

Carter's Bedroom

Justin is such a great husband, hard worker & handy man. We have, well he has remodeled almost every room in our house, -I just do the decorating once he is done!!- :) Here are a few pictures of what we have done to Carter's room.

Carter's 1st fair

Justin went down to the Cache County fair on Saturday to help our brother in law Ricky load the 4H beef & haul them to the plant. Carter was sound asleep in his stroller, & Justin had to wake him up & carry him around to show him the animals..Carter had to have been wondering what the stinky smell was it was so stuffy in there.

My mom & I walked around the fair & checked out the booths..nothing too exciting & it was super hot..Carter was sweating, so we cut the fair time short.

Mom & Dad's Anniversary

Today is my mom & dad's 29th wedding anniversary. I can't believe they have been married that long already. I just want to thank them for being such great parents, and supporting me wether it was at soccer games, basketball games, or just school they were always there. -not to mention they never missed a game!- I couldn't have asked for better parents. You guys really are the best! Happy Anniversary!!

Boppy Time

Carter loves to just sit in his boppy. He's finally starting to smile a lot and he trys so hard to talk..you can see his little tongue trying so hard but nothing comes out yet. He's just been a grunter since he was born...Here are a few smiles for ya!

Carter De Perry was born June 15th, 2008..Father's Day, what a perfect father's day present. These are his 1 month old pictures..It's crazy how fast he is grown!! I'm a little behind on this whole blogging deal. Now that I somewhat know what i'm doing I'll keep you posted more often.
