Making Pots!

After pre-school we went over to Monique's to let the kids make their very own pots! paint, stickers, flowers, ribbon! and then we planted wild flowers in them...

 My kids LOVE doing "crafty" things like this! It makes the days go by much faster during the long winter time! Thanks for inviting us over! We enjoy your company :)

Bowling & Ice Cream

Friday February 22nd Justin & I took the kids bowling & out for ice cream! We're weird about leaving our kids {we were going to the Afton hill climbs the next day, so we wanted to get out of the house & have fun with the kids}so we went into town & told them we were just getting gas & washing the car, so we pulled up to wash the car....& surprised them by taking them bowling :)

This was Tenley's first time of being old enough to know what bowling is. She loved it  at first & had to roll it all by herself with the stand, then all by herself without the stand, & then by round 7 she was burnt out & ready to go!

Carter would have stayed & bowled all night. He's been playing bowling on the wii a lot lately so he was ecstatic to finally go bowl for reals this year.

He loved to keep score & write the numbers in each time. He even knew how many we knocked down (number wise) without us telling him!

And I of course kicked Justin's butt :) pretty sure I had the high score for the night!!! Then we were off to Big J's for bubble gum ice cream. Doesn't get much better than that for a family date night!
