Twin Lakes

We went out camping to twin lakes with my family. It was fun to get out of the house & kinda just relax. My parents didn't take their boat... so we just sat & chatted, swam, & the boys did their hunting stuff. We watched the 24th fireworks from the beach. We didn't end up sleeping over because- well I am 9 months pregnant & pee every hour at night & Carter doesn't love to sleep anywhere but in his own bed.
Carter would sit at the lake & throw rocks in all day & anywhere with a rhino or 4-wheeler he is SO content!

Lake Days

Nicole, Lacey & I headed out to the lake the other day. It was so relaxing!!! Played in the water a little bit, but mainly just relaxed up on the beach area & let the kiddos play...Shae insisted on driving the boys in the boat!- I love getting together & just letting the kids play, its amazing what having kids around for Carter does...He can't get enough of all his little friends.

Movie Night {Toy Story 3}

Friday night we went to the movie with the Theurer fam. Shae & Carter were so excited to go to the movie together-it was cute! Carter was good for about the first half hour & then he had to pee & thought he could just do whatever - so it was a pain! Carter & I spent most the time out in the hallway watching the movie & eating popcorn...Now when we drive by the movie theatre in town he knows... "went to the movie there with Shae, mom"

Boating

Boating again. Can't get enough of it in the summer! My dad & Dack knee boarded at the same time-Dack thought that was pretty cool. Justin P wake boarded for the first time this year- he did good, jumped the wake a few times & also had a few good hard crashes :D
Carter loves the tube & is pretty crazy when he's in there. Jumping, trying to do flips , & saying he is wake boarding- funny kid!

Birthday Party

We went to Carter Hale's birthday party last week at the firestation. All the little boys & even Ady had a good time! My Carter wasn't so sure about it at first but once he realised it wasn't going to be loud-he was pretty into it. The fireman showed them all the trucks , where the water comes from & let them "drive" the trucks...Then he put on all his gear & the boys were all really into that...Thanks for the invite Whit-such a fun idea!!!

Slip & Slide

Carter has had so much fun with the slip & slides this summer. For about a week he woke up every morning wanting to "slip & side"- We set my neices up out at my parents house on their big hill & the kids played on it for hours. Carter even made my mom go down it :)Carter & Tay taking a break in the tent for a snack. The grandkids have so much fun together!! My mom has been such a good sport about taking my spot & playing wild with the grandkids while I have been pregnant this summer. I think they like it :)

Potty Training

Well-we are going on about a week of Carter being (fully day) potty trained besides during naps & night time. He is doing so well & caught on VERY fast. I was really surprised. He can't pull his pants down by himself so when you ask him what he needs to say when he needs to go potty he says "mommy help me-gotta go pee" He is such a good kid. I was hoping he would be potty trained before little sister got here...he is all excited to help change sisters bum. He tells everyone he is a "big boy" & that he is "potty trained". Showing his musclesI get a little nervous about going places where we are outside & people are around cause he thinks he can just pull his pants down & pee right where he is :) BOYS!

4th Weekend

Friday: Justin took me out to dinner & to see Grown Ups-Randomly we ran into my parents at the same theatre & same movie time. The movie was hilarious!!!

Saturday: We went to the cruise in {Carter hated the loud cars at first but once he got use to them he thought they were pretty cool & was making race car noises}after the cruise in we went to my brothers house for a bonfire-Carter was so amused by his duck & geese decoys & all his calls.

Sunday: We went out to my parents house for lunch & we played crochet. I was a horrible picture taker because I was too busy kickin' everyones butt. HA- I pretty much lost both times..It was fun though, Wendi won both games.

Monday: We went out to the Lewiston paradewandered through the park, came home for a long nice nap,then had a cook out at the Theurer's, everyone {but prego me} played basketball & volleyballThen we watched the fireworks {Carter was not a fan at all of the big fireworks at all he kept saying "no more mommy" & "not light more" when they were over he yelled "all done." He was so excited that they were over... After the big fireworks-Ricky lit some little ones & he thought they were the coolest thing ever he kept saying "get more Ricky" & running over to get more sparklers.

It's so nice having long weekends & being able to spend time with both sides of the family.

Boating

My parents got their boat out for the first time the other night. I am large & prego so I just sit & relax. My brother Justin took Carter out on the tube first & he just sat still & would laugh when they would go on bumps...so we talked my mom into going cause she hadn't in years & of course when she finally goes she gets A.D.D Carter jumping all over her.

Carter was really into watching Dack & Justin kneeboard & watching Justin do "tricks"- Now at home he stands up & acts like he is holding onto the rope while he runs & says he is "wake boarding"...
