Busy boy!

Carter is already pretty daring- he'll bend down to grab his toys..

& risk it with no hands

He's had a few falls but no bruises or anything yet!

It's getting hard to get pictures of him looking because he is so busy or else he is trying to grab the camera!! Can't get enough of this little guy!

Teeth, Naps, Crusin'

Carters two front teeth are starting to poke through-these past few days have been rough on him-Teething bites! You can tell he is definetly in some pain.

He puts his tongue inbetween his lips cause it must feel good on his new teeth :)

He's also figured out that he can sit up in his crib-he use to just lay there in one spot-which was so nice...so its been a nightmare trying to get him to nap-even though he is so tired..he won't give in-he just sits up & cries & rubs his blankies on his face. So then of course I give him & just hold him :)

He is so much fun though. I love this stage-even though he is EVERYWHERE! He can pull himself up onto anything & loves to be a little stinker & get things he knows he isn't supposed to :) It didn't take long for him to be cruisin' everywhere & 'just putting the baby gate up' isn't working out at easy as Justin thought it would :D

Crawling

Well its finally official Carter can crawl! He has to really focus-its cute! If you say anything or get his attention he'll stop & just sit there.

He is still pretty slow & isn't getting into too much trouble. I'm sure that'll change once he is more advanced :)

First Haircut

We decided to give Carter his first hair cut today. He had 'nappy' hair- behind his ears that were getting pretty long..(long-considering how much hair he has) & I always had to slick them to his head so that they wouldn't poke out over his ears-so we shaved the sides pretty short & left the top. It looks much better!No more having to slick his hair to his head :)

Happy Birthday!

Saturday was my 22nd birthday! We went out to lunch at Firehouse & then walked around at Willow Park-it was such a nice day. Carter only noticed the big birds, deer, and ducks...He was more into the screaming kids running around :)

My present was a bike trailer for Carter :) I didn't need anything & so it was a good excuse to get one.

9 Month Pictures

Carter was such a happy camper-he loved wherever we set him to get pictures...He kept sticking his tongue out, I thought he was over that-guess not :)...We still got some really cute smiling ones though.

St. Patrick's

We went over to Ricky & Nicole's for St. Patrick's dinner. Nicole made corned beef, cabbage, & Irish soda bread...Everything was REALLY good!! Carter even liked everything-I was suprised.

9 Months Old

loves reading books
fake cries & whines when he wants something
almost has balancing himself down-tries to stand up alone
blowing bubbles/spitting
crawls/scoots backwards everywhere - can't figure out how to go forwards

loves string cheese
playing catch with his balls
watching sports (anything with a ball)
playing with dad during dinner. bangs table. big boy. claps. scaredy cat.
likes t.v. a little bit more...curious george, clifford, price is right

loves to pull his socks off & swinging them around
squeals- hasn't firgued out how to scream YET thank goodness
still just has the 3 bottom teeth
loves dogs
makes the kissing noise-won't really give kisses yet though

knows that the cow says 'moo' -says mmmmm
pulls himself up onto things-he slowly makes his way around the furniture
loves to be tickled & teased...he is ticklish everywhere!
will still let anyone hold him. doesn't cry.
has the fingers to mouth with his food down

kind of a momma's boy when he is tired
can wave hi & bye
loves when people talk to him while we are in stores-tries to get their attention
eats what we eat now-isn't a fan of baby food anymore
smiles at everyone & anything!

likes shopping. pulls on the clothes & tags
loves to walk around holding your hands
sleeping better at night. goes to bed around 7:30 and usually only wakes up once..to eat :)
loves playing with grandma & grandpas!
weighs 24 pounds

He's starting to get really smart...He's got this little farm toy down & loves opening & shutting them!

He is getting big way too fast...We can't get enough of his little personality! He is so much fun!!!

Spring Fever

Today was the first day its actually been warm enough to take Carter outside! Happy boy!

He loved watching Diesel play ball & run around. The whole walk all he wanted to do was watch Diesel.

He loved it!!...It was so good to get out & get some fresh air. Carter is going to love when spring finally gets here for good & we can be outside all day!

Scootin'

Carter is in the scooting stage. He has the arms part down but he hasn't quite figured out what to do while he is up on his knees so he just boogies around on his belly. He hasn't figured out how to go forward...He scoots in circles & backwards.

Third Tooth

Carter's third tooth has popped through...Another one on the bottom right. We've got a bottom toothed monster! :)
