NOTD: Misa Girls' Night Out + Maybelline Colorama #3 Tutti Frutti

I must admit that I love this combo. The Misa polish is a nice bright pink creme, but blue shimmer from the Tutti Frutti makes it look absolutely amazing. I think Tutti Frutti is one of the more popular of the Maybelline Coloramas. I can definitely see why.

NOTD: Misa Double Date

Gosh, this is a lovely polish. It's such a gorgeous soft purple shade. I had to do three coats to get good coverage, but I think it's worth it.

NOTD: Misa Shop Till U Drop (again)

Yep, I've worn this one before, but it's just so lovely! I got several compliments on it at work. I'm trying to make my nails square again, but it's just so much maintenance. Sigh!

NOTD: Misa Shop Till U Drop

More Misa! This gorgeous color is called Shop Till U Drop, and how can you argue with that? I really, really like this color. It has some very subtle bluish shimmer. I used three coats.

NOTD: Misa She's A Wanderer

Hmmm, not really loving this. I think it might be too much of a fall shade for the hot weather. Application wasn't as great as my other Misas either. I used three coats for my mani.

NOTD: Misa Bikini With a Martini

This polish is very, very bright and very, very hard to photograph. It's like it has orange and pink tones at the same time. I don't know how that is possible, but it is! It's very eye-catching (or at least a lot of people were staring when I went shopping while wearing it). The picture is three coats.

Konad Inspiration Week Day 7: Glittery Butterflies!

Welcome to Konad Inspiration Week: A week of me pretending I know how to use the plates and polishes from the Konad B kit. I hope this will provide inspiration for the OC Nail Art contest. I'm usually not very adventurous with Konad, but I'm going to make an effort to try some new things this week.

Day 7: "Glittery Butterflies!" with Konad plate m15, Konad Special Polish in red, China Glaze Tinsel, and a dotting tool:

For today's manicure, I decided to combine a few of the previous techniques: The fench tip and the dotting tool. For the french tip I used China Glaze tinsel and the dots are Tinsel and the Konad white polish. The base color is Misa Shop Till U Drop.

NOTD: Misa Decadent Drifter

Another Zombie Pearl look-alike! This one has gorgeous golden pink duochrome shimmer though. It's really sheer just like my Zombie Pearl. I was hoping it would be more opaque. The picture is three coats. Application was great as always with Misa.


I don't know why I keep picking all these sheers when I don't even like sheers on long nails....

NOTD: Misa The Grass is Greener on my Side

oh my god, it happened again. I used a Misa polish, and it was unbelievable amazing. This time it's The Grass is Greener on my Side, and it really is, because this polish is TEH SHITZ! It's a little on the thick side, but application was good. The picture is two coats. It's a shimmery neon, so it dries matte, and it looks so gorgeous. I think if Misa was the only nail polish company in the world, I'd be sort of fine with that.

NOTD: Sinful #51 Velvet Diamond over Misa Bojangles + "Fauxnad" B03

I decided to keep Misa Bojangles on for another day, but added a "Fauxnad" (fake Konad) image to spice it up. The image is from a plate called B03. It's a round plate that was included as extra with an ebay order. There is a similar (if not identical) butterfly image on Konad plate m40.

Since the white Konad polish was looking a little chalky; I decided to bling it up with Sinful Velvet Diamod. It's a lovely sparkly polish that has a strange snot-like texture. The combination looks ridiculously over the top!

Barbie would love this manicure!

Ohhhh. OHHHHH. You guys, this polish is awesome. Application is fantastic and I fell in love with the shimmer the second it hit my nails. I kept asking myself why I hadn't tried out Misa before, but then I realized it's because I think the bottle is ugly. I can live with an ugly bottle when the polish inside is fabulous, and this polish really is! The color changes from pink in bright light to a warmer coral tone. The duochrome effect is beautiful. Love!


I want to buy 4 million Misas now. Someone stop me!
